If you leave it in there, there's very little chance of breaking it. If it is heat related, obviously a different matter. I've only taken the ceramic out a few times. Once when I changed strong flavours to give it a quick blast with the blow torch, and once when I was checking it out when I got it. I did order 3 spares mind

Why so many spare ceramics? I've had 2 spares for 3 months for penelope - can't see myself using 1 for years lol.

So, the GG mouthpiece will come with it now, and the "use your own drip tip" one is 14 euros (£11). I've signed up. I guess if the worse comes to worst I'll get a refund

I can believe it really. Just went out for a bit and it's pretty warm, bright and sunny.

If the Chinese come with great quality items at cheaper prices, I'm in too!

the thing is no one is making anyone buy anything they dont want to ...no one is encouraging anyone to buy anything they dont want to ...so why are we having all these negative posts? Im happy to buy Nikes, Im happy to buy BMW's and Im happy to buy the vaping equipment i want to buy are people trying to justify to themselves why they shouldn't buy these things? i love vaping and i love my toys and im sorry but it just gets annoying when people try to dampen others enthusiasm Sure we all like nice things , absolutely nothing wrong with that but it's the rebuildable atomiser hype that confuses the hell out of me . Apart from the asthetics they are all the same , would you buy a £30,000 BMW over a £10,000 KIA if under the bonnet they had exactly the same engine ? I don't think any sane person would . You are showing your lack of knowledge and experience of the topic there imo. Some may appear to be "the same" but up close, and in practice/performance they are not.

I wouldn't "pay through the nose" for anything, unless it was vital.

I'm on the verge of being satisfied with my set up That needs to be submitted in triplicate please Benny. Ha ha, yeah, it's quite a statement lol. I still like trying stuff out, but I've got my staple devices now. I don't think anything could top the Caravela for me at this exact moment in time lol. The provari is solid and reliable. I may possibly consider another go at a GGTS but I would have to get it brushed before laying my hands on it. I still have flash backs of the senseless cleaning and polishing of it....even though I didn't even have it for a week

Some of the parts are interchangeable with the Ody from what I've read, so I don't blame the Ody owners. The only thing which I a bit unsure of is the diameter. I think it's going to look a bit odd on anything other than the GGTS. I think it is 23mm, but don't quote me. I'll be sure to post my thoughts like I did with the Foggatti (which, imo is a great atty) if I manage to raise the funds. Foggatti is a defo keeper for me. I picked up a Hellfire Mega too, and can't see that going anywhere either. I did sell the Spheroid though. It just wasn't getting the use it deserves. Penelope is safe too lol. I'm on the verge of being satisfied with my set up

I think I may have made a bit of a boo boo with that thread. Since I read it, there has been quite a few more responses and it may just be a dodgy one....or two, or the mods the guy is using them on.
If there was a sea of Odyseuss attys out there, I would go for one of those and hold out for an Ithaka myself - see some reviews etc. But I've been on the look out for one for a while. Not had any WTB threads on here because everyone who has one really likes them and it's a keeper like the Penelope. WTB on other sites seem to just attract way over priced ones.
I've watched the videos a few times and am confident it will be another great addition to the GG range. I wasn't affected by the whole pre-sale thing, and only ordered once from Cam so can't say I was a loyal customer or anything. Not that it makes it right, of course not. I'm willing to take a chance on it.

Just an example - I know nothing about the AGA series by the way: ukvapers.org/Thread-AGA-W-Worn-outI would think an atty made by GG or any high end atty would have to be many years old before any sign of wear to the 510 connector became apparent. The materials used are always very high quality with more expensive products.

Quality, performance, design, innovation, aesthetics, features, capacity to name a few. Plus the hobby side of it. Once you are in the region of paying higher prices for higher end gear, it starts to become the norm. Not everyone's idea of a hobby as such, but if you were to check out a few other websites, you could easily branch out and embrace the world of mods
