Not renowned for my patience Rom Been trying it a few drops at a time in the spirit of research, will knock down the usa and up the liquorice next time. Its not horrid by any means, and being a mixing newby I know I will ruin some perfectly good recipes pratting round with them too much....super strong menthol on hand if I do.
Would probably have been more useful if I'd posted this one then Pam.
LOL Yup that's what I used...the USA overpowers the liquorice for me, bearing in mind they have had all of two days steeping so far, needs to be a smidgen sweeter for me hence adding the sweetner and drops of kent with some effect maybe the caramel will do the trick

Im using kent in my black cat copy and am pleased with the flavour. But using usa in liqourice tabac attempt too much usa not enough liquorice coming through. Something sweet is missing??? Super-Shiny is probably too modest to promote his own recipe Pam, so I'll do it instead. That's the one I used for my black cat mix which is perfect!! Thanks Rom, it's the liquorice tabac I am having trouble with at the mo

Karma have added two drops more liquorice and two drops of sweetner but still not right, so I added a couple of drops of kent into about 9 mls and it is getting there but still not rich enough Might stick a drop or two of toffee in there later just to see...at this rate it will be zero nic with all the additional drops going in there I'm not expecting an exact match to griz's one but close enough will do me

Remember to take the cautions about the toxicity of the high mg nic base very seriously, if it gets on your skin, clothes floor clean it up pronto don't just wipe it with paper towels or something, wash it off very well

Thanks for the welcome backs everyone! Staying off the ciggies has been really easy to be honest even with a smoker in the house. Weirdly I woke up one morning to find I could no longer vape sweet juice at all only menthol so bought the strongest one I could and mentholised every juice I had rather than chuck it, even the GVC got the treatment!!! I am gradually venturing back to sweetish tobaccos like black cat and liquorice tobacco and trying to recreate those mixes myself with partial success, the liqourice tabac is proving tricky, missing something but cant place it lol Lost two of our old dogs this year one only last week so down to 8 now. Good to be back xx

I guess for some people collecting the latest shinies is their thing. For me most of my purchases have been practical i.e trying to make my vaping easier. The egos didn't last long enough (4 hours or so) so I got the lava tube (8 hours or so) to be replaced by the gripper (12 hours or so) and now the MPV (2.5 days or so) the puritank was purely to have a bottom coil with huge capacity the x8 was a case of curious about tanks/carts and found one cheap enough to try and chuck if rubbish. On the plus side I have extra gear that I can give/lend to friends who are curious about vaping but don't want to fork out on kit they may not continue to use Pam O

It sure does oneday. I was laughing to myself the other day when trying to cram something into my overfull vape kit toolbox that only a year ago I thought I would never ever want anything more advanced than my ego and novas. Here I am now with a itaste MPV, two smok grippers, a lavatube along with my egos and twists and enough clearos to open a shop. I have added a puritank and x8 to my haul and am working on a collection of flavours to add to the mixing supplies I have bought as well as coil and wick for my recoiling attempts

Hope everyone had a great x-mas and new year and that 2013 is going ok for you all. I've not been round much lately mainly due to the madness that is work these days, after over two years of working my ass off doing problem solving projects with the sole intention of getting promoted from the shop floor I was at last offered a junior management position, got just two people reporting to me but the job itself is HUGE and on top of this I still have to do more projects.....more hours, more responsibility, less money But it is a start and at least I am off the shop floor permanently now Still vaping away and ciggie free Will try to read some threads and catch up with what you all have been up to.
