Although I want to get one I am still a little bit in the dark about the VV thing. Do you get a better flavour?.....make your own clouds? what's the benefits over my current Riva's?

For me vaping is an alternative nicotine delivery method which is safer than smoking, not smelly and lets me indulge the inhale exhale habit I have perfected over 26 years I don't think I ever liked or enjoyed a single cigarette I smoked, I did it because I had to and over the past few years really resented every rollup I lit up because a tube of rolled up paper and dried leaves had me completely under it's control. Even though I am trying out some flavours I can't see it being an epic search to find the perfect vape. If I vape boring old menthol forever that will be good enough I reckon, and I can't even conceive of going back to smelly ciggies even if all my taste buds fell off tomorrow My habit is being satisfied in a much safer manner than before the flavour is really secondary to me. During my holiday I had a few days where I could not really taste the menthol any more but it didn't bother me at all.......guess we are all different Pam

Thanks guys....as sad at it was to see him go we know that for the many years he lived here with us he had his own pack of canine buddies and didn't get beaten. He lived to be a grand old age and went with dignity even at the end lifting his lip at the vet nurse! Barney is the fourth dog we have lost in as many years and we have several more oldies here The worst part of owning pets. This is a photo of Barney and little Twix who we lost a couple of years ago at 14 years old, they were the best of friends, together again now. twixbarney by UKSpitzy, on Flickr

First day back at work today Was a nightmare getting out of bed this morning. But at least I could have a sneaky vape in the loo, though I was mortified in case I set the fire alarm off, would be sacked on the spot! There is no smoking OR vaping allowed anywhere on site and if you work on shift you can't leave site for 12 hours not even during your breaks > Not a good day yesterday, had to say goodbye to Barney our old schnauzer, he was 17 years old He went off his legs and though he could wander around when you picked him back up he wasn't stable. He was a grumpy old sod and I have more bite scars from him than any other dog ever, but it wasn't his fault he was a rescue and had obviously been beaten to the point where he would snap at any sudden movements around him even by people he knew well. That is one plane you will never get me on. I thought they had all been scrapped by now. Had the pleasure ( not ) of having to try out their emergency chutes 12 years ago. When we received the aviation accident report we discovered that the DC10 has had an appalling record. Glad you got back safely. For some reason I can't help but watch tv shows like air crash investigation The DC10 does have a bit of a history of falling out of the sky Sounds like you had a lucky escape!...I can tell you if I ever had cause to use an emergency chute on a plane it would be the very last time I would ever fly anywhere!!! Well you don't look middle aged from that pic, Pam Welcome back & well done on eeking out your juice, that was a close call indeed LOL Oh I am...most of my photos are like that....taken from miles away. Even with all my new juice I am still scrimping...I took the tops off the two clearos, stood them upside down in a tiny funnel I have and drained the dregs back into the old menthol bottle before I washed them.... couldn't bear to see that old caramelised juice go down the drain. After cleaning them I refilled them with the old menthol and topped up with the new bottle. I am keeping the Nova menthol free so I can sample the pick and mix in that Pam

At one point i got off the bodrum to kos ferry and i was vaping in the queue for departure and passport checks etc, and there was a middle-aged-ish woman clutching her PV, and i think it was a riva with a vision clearo on it...... for all i know, this could have been you, pam! I suppose I am middle aged......but it wasn't me on the Kos ferry

Guys rather than start yet another thread to ask a question I was wondering do any of you have experience with the Joyetech eGo-C 1000mAh Battery & Pass Through? I got mine today, I have plugged it into my laptop and a usb wall plug attachment thingy but there is nothing to tell me that it is charging ??? No lights, flashes or anything else.....before I email Jason I thought I would ask if I am being particularly thick here or if that is normal. Cheers Pam The bottom of the battery (where the mini USB cable plugs into) is red whilst it's charging. If it's not red - it's fully charged OK feel stupid now, it was in darkness because it was fully charged, got a little red light this morning......thanks Jason Pam

Pam I'm not familiar with that battery, but does it have a 3 or 5 click on/off that you need to activate before use? Its a 5 click and has two modes which are changed by holding down the button for 5 seconds when it is off, one mode is constant 3.3v the other is variable depending on the amount of charge. I have had a couple of puffs from the mini nova on it and it seems to be working ok I am just concerned about the lack of signs of life when charging. Pam

Few little questions Pam Is it still £10 to pay for visa when you arrive? Yup and as usual they must get 100's of 10 pound notes but won't have change is you hand them a 20 note >What was the temperature while there? It was between 24 and 37 degrees during the day and about 16 at night.Im flying into Dalaman and 2 hour transfer to Marmaris. Are they OK with vaping over there on coaches, Hotels, Bars etc? Our Thompson coach was smoke free so I didn't bother asking but all of the bars we visited allowed smoking at the tables so didn't need to ask about vaping. It appears that enclosed spaces are non smoking over there but again I never had a reason to ask about vaping I just waited till I was back outside. (I was conserving juice ) I was also too chicken to try and vape at the airport as smoking is not allowed there. Pam
