Welcome back, lucky there were no exploding volcanoes to delay your return No volcanoes but we had something else..... I HATE flying ......well we got on the plane at about 1am, after a while it was obvious nothing was happening next thing we see the captain walking down the aisle towards the back of the plane, then he goes back up towards the cockpit again...then more waiting...then captain back down the aisle again...then an announcement that there was something was making a beeping noise at the back of the plane, they thought it may be coming from the hold. An engineer was called he came he looked he got cases hoofed out of the hold onto the runway then another announcement that they couldn't find the source of the noise and they were talking to headquarters to see if anyone there knew.....then they decided that the only way to find out if it was the plane that was making the noise or one of the cases was to literally shut down every power source on the plane, but that meant we had to all get back off the plane and go back to the departure lounge. I am having a minor nervous breakdown at this point and went for a sneaky vape (medicinal nerve calming purposes of course) We could see the plane in total darkness on the runway with torch light in the cockpit. They literally switched it off and on again LOL then we were all told to get back on and were told that the noise went away when the power to the plane was shut off (so it wasnt something in a case) but it was back beeping again!! The captain said we would take off anyway and they would see if they could fix it back in the UK!!! We eventually took off at about 3am and three and a half hours of terror later we land in the UK in one piece!!! Pam

Welcome back Pam.... a finely judged juice stash for your jollies there On the last day I eeked it out by taking just one big drag and holding my breath for as long as I could.....not pretty made me dizzy but it worked to keep me from even thinking of having a stinkie

Phew!! This was all the juice I had left on the last day of my holiday How close was that!! juice by UKSpitzy, on Flickr But I did get home to some lovely vapemail from Vapeescape A new spare riva battery, a passthrough for the car, a mini nova, a pick and mix selection and 30 mls of menthol so I am stocked up again and really enjoying the arctic lemon (maybe enjoying it a bit too much better give it a rest for a while I think ) The two visions I took with me did me proud, they have had no TLC at all, no cleaning or anything, they have been hammered for two weeks in high temperatures and did not let me down once. They have had a wash and are now drying out in the kitchen. Had a great holiday but glad to be back to see all my dogs again. Pam O

Thanks for that easily understood explanation. I am completely clueless when it comes to stuff like that I will invest in a twist when I get paid, a lot of people seem to rate them. Pam

Hi all I have read that I should not use carts or clears below 2 ohms on my riva battery. I was wondering why and what sort of battery is suitable for lower than 2 ohms? I've ordered a mini nova and one of the heads is below 2 that comes with it. Thanks Pam

Well done Jeanie!!! It's a great feeling beating the stinkies isn't it? I've kept the juice in the room fridge and during the day the riva is kept in its case in the shade under the sun bed. Malibu bring a cardie it's chilly here at night have a great holiday both of you !! Interestingly the only comments I've had about vaping are from Turks who have shook their heads and said "very bad for you" with a fag hanging of their mouths lol Pam

Pam, you should be proud because it is an achievement I too have just returned from Holiday and didn't miss the stinkies once..If I am honest I did miss scourcing the ciggies as I used to get A big kick out of buying the stinkies for £2-3 when they were £6 back home!!! My other half is most of the way through 200 he bought last week, but he is smoking less than he did when I was smoking. I hammer the ready mades on holiday so he would have one when I did. Pam

I've been ok vaping in the heat but have been drinking a lot of water and pop along with it. I have been more concerned with keeping the juice out of the sun. I don't chain vape just use it when I get the urge for a ciggie, vape for about twice as long as a fag would take to smoke then put it away again. I have felt my mouth get very dry so I stop and down half a litre of fluid. I really hope you don't have to smoke too many ciggies while you are over here

I have read before about buying menthol crystals and mixing it in with least favourite juices. Boots sell it apparantly and a lot cheaper than ready made. I've read that somewhere too must dig it out and have a proper read, I could be braver at trying new flavours if I knew I could easily "mentholise" them if I didn't like them too much

Thanks guys I am chuffed with myself to be honest. I am currently on 24mg menthol mixing it with 18mg sweet flavours which I can't vape on their own as they are a bit sickly but mixed with the menthol they are great. Coconut and menthol, vanilla and menthol, cheesecake and menthol lol. My next order will be 18mg menthol I will see how I get in with that. Pam

Hi all. Tomorrow I will have been completely off the cigs for 3 whole weeks, something I have never managed before in all my quitting attempts. It has been so easy to achieve too I only wish I had discovered vaping sooner. Even on holiday here in turkey where cigs are £2 a pack I have not been tempted at all. Two days ago we walked from our hotel to the ghost village a few miles outside hisaronu and climbed to the highest point, which is bloody high! I was breathless as hell but not wheezing or coughing or dizzy! We then walked back with most of the route being a 10 percent gradient uphill! I am now determined to get fit when I get back to the UK. Pam
