You another menthol girl then? Well I thought it was a pretty safe bet to start out with, I used to smoke flavoured tobacco from an old tobacconist in our town but some of the sweeter ones were too sickly. But I will no doubt be doing some sampling in the future. Pam

Sorry pam for hijacking your thread to talk about menthol flavours! Massive well done on 40 hours especially just on a look alikey! good choice to re the riva kit I love mine! Although I'm humming and harring re getting an ego twist battery as I've read such amazing things about them! That's ok I don't know where to start with juice so any discussions about them are interesting, I bought menthol with my riva kit to keep me going until I pin down something I like but the sampling fest is going to have to wait till after my hols as I am now skint The twist was recommended to me and I think I will buy that to replace the riva batteries as they go. Ooooo get me, two days ago I had never heard of any of this stuff....it's a whole new world Pam

Hi Guys. After a lot of research and advice I have settled on a Riva 1100 deluxe kit It should hopefully arrive next week in time for me to take it on holidays. I am still ciggy free, nearly 40 hours now, just on the cheapo e-cigs! Everything I eat or drink is too sweet or too salty or just plain yuk! and the whole house has had to be doused in febreze Just a quick question about flying with the kit, I assume if I use the cartomisers they can come in their zip bag in my hand luggage and not in the clear bag?? while the bottle of juice can go into the suitcase in the hold? I'm all excited now waiting for my kit Pam

Pamo, I hope you realise that Vapourlites claim of that starter kit being the equivalent of 240 cigarettes is so not right. However, you should be able to refill the cartomisers you got with the kit, though I don't know what thread they are. Hi Chrissie. From the research I did into them I discovered they all seem to over state how much is in them. > From something I have read the vapourlites fit boge cartomisers so I guess that makes them a 510??? Thanks for the links...I love that key ring Pam O

Hi Chrissie. I ordered the vapourlites rechargeable with 5 extra cartomizers/refills 11mg menthol. The battery lasted from about 8.15am to 11am though to be fair I was caning it, it is now on charge which apparently should take a couple of hours. These would be very handy to take into work for a sneaky vape in the loo, I work in a place where there is no smoking on site and you can not leave the site during your 12 hour shift, not even during your breaks the battery would last long enough for that sort of use and I could keep the more expensive kit for at home! WOW! thanks for the warm welcome and great advice With all the juice flavours available is there a site which does small variety packs so that I could try several out or is it a case of buying the smallest bottles they have? Some of the flavours available sound just wonderful (Edit: just read above that 5ml tasters are available) Before taking the plunge into more expensive kit, juice etc. I wanted to see if I would be able to tolerate the vapour and not still be craving for a ciggie so I bought one of those ciggie lookalikes, if it didn't work out then I would not have wasted too many of my pennies. Normally by now in the day I would have smoked at least 10 rollups but I have used this e-cig instead and so far so good. No rollups and no casualties I will see how far through the day I get before the batteries pack up but so far I am very pleased. Thanks again for the welcome Pam

Hi everyone. Fantastic forum you have here After 26 years of heavy smoking I have reached the point where I am really starting to feel the negative effects. I have tried countless times to stop using various patches, tablets etc with no success, though the nicotine was being supplied the habit of lighting up and inhaling was always far too strong so back I went to the evil weed I have been reading lots and lots of threads on here and elsewhere about the best kits to start off with and I am dizzy with all of the options available! I have found the following and was wondering if it would be considered a decent start up kit (quality and reliability) and at a good price. I would rather buy the right kit first time than spend £££ experimenting. 2 x Vision CE4 Clearomisier 2 x Joyetech 1000 mAh Pass Through Battery Black Rubberised 1 x USB charger and case 1 x E Liquid Menthol Nicotine Level 24mg This is selling for £45.98 Any comments on the above would be appreciated. Many thanks Pam O
