CaptainChaosJacvopour look overpriced compared to Myepack or Paradise Vape. I don't think you get a better product for your money - probably worse, but they don't give sufficient information to be able to tell. Everybody is trying not to blind you with science, but it is worth knowing that how long a battery lasts is its "mah". I wouldn't buy an ecig battery from someone who didn't tell me what it was, because you don't know what you are getting. 650mah is really a minimum for a 20/day smoker, and you need two of those - one to use while the other is charging, and as backup. It looks to me as if the Jacvapour are 400mah, and, for instance, if you work an 8-hour day, that won't get you through it.

I like espresso, but I also like instant, and I'm lazy. My OH isn't lazy but is less bothered about the taste difference, so it is down to me.
Some time ago we got a beans to cup proper espresso machine, but I never used it.
Now we have a nespresso, and I wouldn't call it quite the same as real espresso, but it is a lot better than instant and we do use it, although only for one cup each/day. It is expensive - not so much to buy the machine, as for the 'pods' - you are looking at around 50p per cup for nespresso brand, maybe 35p/cup for clones.

givenupThe kit DiscoDes recommends is good. If you want something a bit cheaper you could get a couple of these. It is always worth having two batteries.

Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble clivealive1. Generally does it matter what mm the jewellers screwdriver I use in terms of the resistance, 2mm makes the coils wide, so could I wrap the coils around a 1mm screwdriver? Also, the mesh company sent me some 0.15 Kanthal as a freebie, do you use this in the same way as 0.25 kanthal, same number of wraps etc, or is it used differently? You'll need nearly twice as many coils round a 1mm @nimh297, and say 6 turns if you were using 10 (0.15 divided by 0.25 times 10). So you could do both, but you are losing the benefit of a microcoil which is to get a larger area of wire heating up the juice.

I don't really understand how the legs are facing different ways after 6 coils, but if they are, how about doing six & a half coils?
I think you need a decent cooking blow torch or a gas hob unless you have a very fancy lighter. Don't do what I did and get a mini ego-sized thing, it is too awkward to use.
You'll have a pretty low resistance coil with .25 unless it is a microcoil, because you can't make it too long on a protank. Which may or may not matter depending on your mod.

SIDNo contest. SID beats Vamo. Rock, paper, scissors? Why djs? Just the look of the thing? Or do you prefer the menu system (the one button thing is putting me off)? Or do you think it will last longer?

Lot of southpaws on this forum, or maybe lefties are more likely to read the post?

The first one - evod - because it has two batteries. You need to have one to vape on while the other is charging, and things do go wrong, so you need a back-up.
Second choice would be to get two of the mini-protank kits. Some people prefer the mini protank to the evod, but I don't think there's a lot of difference.
Some of the full-sized protanks have had problems, so that would be the least favourite.

This is where John Cleese comes in saying "too silly" & everyone leaves. The 18650's would last about 2 hours at 100 watts, supposing you could wrap a coil that took 100 watts, and had an atty that wouldn't melt if you did. Did you watch the video ? Rip was vaping at 100 watts Sick As Tits He wanted to be talked out of it, I was doing my best. Rip only did a few seconds on a dripper, but yes, you are right, it wouldn't damage an SS atty. And the coil isn't impossible, just difficult. I'd say you needed 0.25 ohm. I don't think you'd even attempt that on a single coil - say a quad with 4x 1 ohm coils? If you are currently vaping at 0.8 ohms or less and are deeply dissatisfied with the vape & have a spare £100, then maybe. Otherwise, bring on John Cleese.

Aaaarrgh
If people start to believe that young kids are taking up e-cigs (even if nicotine-free) then we are f*cked.
