My tongue is burning aswell, so maybe i need to stop vaping for a few days  not sure if i can without having a stinky...maybe i should go to the doc's if it persists. |

All food and drink i cannot taste very well, and ofcourse my fruity vapours, there is only so much menthol i can stand, i quit smoking a few months ago, and used a few different brands of ecigs, i packed up for almost 4 weeks then unfortunately i started again, but in those 4 weeks i never had a problem with my taste buds, it's just this time round they have gone more than they have been awake  |

I still cannot taste anything and it doesn't seem to be improving, 2 weeks before i stopped smoking i cut down on the stinkies and bought a cig look alike along with just PG juice, for those few weeks i had no problem with my taste buds, i vaped and had around 3-4 normal ciggies a day, i then stopped normal ciggies completley and used my Riva along with PG/VG mixed juice..... hmm could it be the VG that has made my taste go, i have opened a new clearomiser, used a fresh cartridge so i doubt whether it is them, its just soo frustrating, 4 days now and i have had no taste |

I'm not sure what came with my Riva but i have ordered some Kanger's to try, the carts i have i can see a metal thing poking out the top so i am not sure which ones i have.

Is there a big difference between the 2 types of cartomisers ? will they give the same performance ? Sorry if it seems like a silly question but i dont know what the difference is.  |

Thanks for everyones input, i know i need to peresvere, i still dont want to try a stinkie, which is a good thing, i dont like the tobacco flavours so i use the fruity ones, grape/apple/strawberry/rasberry/blackcurrant and blueberry, i bought an arctic cherry 5ml bottle which is going down pretty quickly at the moment as i can taste that but all the others are kind of hit and miss at the moment. i think i might give it til the end of the week and if my tatse is no better i will try a vg based ejuice. I need the throat hit so it will be difficult.

I have been vaping for 2 weeks now, and not had a stinkie since i got my Riva kit 2 weeks ago, last Friday my taste went, it has been off and on all week, but today i am back to no taste at all, its so frustrating, i am vaping menthol and i have tried a few carts so i know it's not those, could there be something wrong with me ? i cant taste coffee and most things i am drinking or eating, its reall ygetting me down now |

I received my pink battery this morning, along with a caramel cappuccino juice sample, the battery is great, however i am not partial to that taste, in fact i dont like it at all.

I have had my Riva for a week and 3 days now, apart from losing my taste i have found it easy to give up the cigs, i hope it lasts i have my original clearo too, i wash it out most days and it is still going well, i have 2 as backups. I am already looking at what i can upgrade to, i dont want to spend a fortune though at the moment, i have bought so many juices, does anyone have any suggestions ? |

Noooooo dont give in, my taste buds went on Friday, i vaped menthol as everyone suggested, it did help even though i dont like menthol, yesterday i had i cartomiser, 2 clearomisers on my Riva and 2 look alike ecigs on the go just trying to get a taste of something other than menthol, my desk at work looked like an ecig shop..i have drunk plenty of water, brushed my tongue, used mouth wash, eaten spicy foods, ready salted crisps, all to get the buds going again, must admit i can taste a little bit better today but it's not back to normal, hang in there, you will regret having a normal fag, at times over the weekend and especially yesterday i really was tempted to have a real fag to get some kind of taste, but i didn't and i am so glad i didn't. Hang in there, you are not alone |
