Todds videos on this forum are what inspired me to start making reviews. He has been extremely helpful and encouraging towards me throughout.
I am just glad he will continue to post to youtube, as I feel his reviews and walk throughs are something every newbie should see.

The nova is my main clearo to use, I have a V3/CE5 and a stack of CE2s, but my novas are by far my fave clearos. I have blown out a number of heads on my V3, and my original nova is still running it's 2nd head, over 6 weeks since I changed it. The CE2s I mainly use as an emergency backup for my backup, in case I got through 2 mini novas while out, or on my skycig batteries while driving I do have to say tho, all clearos fall short of the Aga-t and as for cartos, I can't remember the last time I used one

the display makes all the difference, having VV is great, as long as you can see what voltage you are using I'm already getting started on my next tin, which will be a single 18650 VV in a 1oz tin, with luck, that will be ready tomorrow evening, if not I will get it done sunday.

Ok, so the coffin mod went well, and everyone loves it from what I've heard, so I thought I would try something a little more conventional. So this time I went for a 2oz tobacco tin, and used the same components as I used for the coffin mod, so a twin 18650 VV setup, but in this case, enough extra space to take a pair of mini vivi novas, or it will hold a 10ml bottle of juice etc

I would advise separate components, it is much easier then it looks, especially with the wiring guide I sent you, I followed it, and had no problems.
My biggest issue was drilling the holes, as I'm not used to using a drill on such a small item (I'm more used to drilling computer cases).
There are plenty of people here who have helped me, and I'm sure will help you, and I am more then happy to help where I can

hmm, looks like this is getting a little more complicated than I 1st imagined. I doubt some how that I'm going to be able to achieve my goal in making a super small (fold out) box mod :-[ I would advise to start a little bigger, get an idea of what you would be doing, and then look to get smaller. I will encourage anyone to give mod building a go, but start simple, learn how it all works, and then get creative, learn as you go, and ask lots of questions along the way (this is what I've done), with something like this, there are no silly questions.

The other consideration here is what the batteries can manage under load, my tin reads 8.2v without a carto or clearo attached, which drops to between 7.4v & 7.8v when I attach a juice delivery system (voltage depends on the device I attach).
And as Des says, find out the limitations of the battery, and what it can handle safely, I would also advise building a protective circuit in to the device, and not just relying on the battery, as it is not designed to be used outside of a phone (most of which have built in protection too)

this is interesting reading, and I can see other supermarkets following this example.
I can understand why it is being done, as it is a great tax dodge, and a 2 finger salute to the powers that be. Just a shame that as always the average person on the street is caught in the cross fire
