I'm getting ready for my first attempt at mixing. A walking disaster at cooking or anything DIY, I'm very nervous about this. This weekend is my deadline to start because I can't come up with any more excuses to put it off. Recipes posted online always seem to include some flavour or brand of flavouring that I don't have and the thought of having to improvise makes my heart sink and my brain shut down.
Can anyone, please, suggest a simple, sweet tobacco recipe from this list of ingredients:
Tobacco Flavours:
Flavour Arts: Burley Dark Vapure Perique Black Maxx Blend Cam Ultimate
Other Flavours:
Flavour Arts: Honey Dulce de Leche Vape Wizard
Capella: French Vanilla Hazelnut Strawberries & Cream Toasted Almond Caramel Banana Coconut Double Chocolate Cool Mint Vanilla Custard Cappuccino Dutch Chocolate Maple Syrup Pancake Golden Pineapple
I'm aiming for about 80/20 pg/vg with 18mg nicotine.

Welcome, Rokii, from another (7 weeks) newbie. Don't be too quick to write off a walk-in shop. I've often wished there was a shop nearby where I could just pop in and buy what I need rather than having to plan ahead and wait for the postman. Provided the mark-up isn't exorbitant, convenience can be worth paying more, and the shopkeeper would have more overheads than an online vendor.

Simple and straightforward is best for me. Can't see myself ever trying to rebuild anything (old dog, new tricks, etc). Shopping time again. There seems to be no end to this shopping for vaping equipment.

Thanks Perpetua. I can buy the AW batteries locally. I'll have a look at the Xtar.

Thanks everyone for your help. If I do buy one I think I'll go for the standard size and just keep it at home and use the ego Twists for out and about. I'm a heavy vaper and want something that will last all day.
I'm in Ireland so buying from a UK vendor is no advantage to me. I bought a lot of stuff from the UK before I discovered the Irish vendors........postage is very expensive. I'll suffer the tax costs but in this instance I want to have someone in the States buy it and send it to me because it's made in America and they can deal with customer service should there be any problems with it.
I'm a bit worried about the batteries and battery charger. What battery charger do you use? I would prefer a charger that can switch itself off when the battery is fully charged.

I'm thinking of buying a Provari but I don't know which one. Looks like I can buy a regular sized one with blemishes for $160 or pay $180 for a perfect mini. I'll be buying it in the US so I suppose I will have to buy the charger and batteries separately.
I can't choose the colour of the regular size but I'm not that pushed about colour. On the other hand, I don't know whether the regular sized model would be too bulky and heavy.
What do you suggest I do?

I have a couple of Delrin drip tips (the black mouth pieces that sit on top of cartomisers). Is that the same thing, albeit a 510 rather than a 306?

How does it work. Does the juice go into the black thing and then that fits onto the silver gadet?

Way too complicated for me. I might look into the less complicated type of atomisers. I only have Ego Twist batteries (although I'm seriously thinking of buying something more durable). I think I need the 510 types for the Twist. Are some brands of atomisers better than others? The more simple and user-friendly the better.

What's an IGO-L? Is it easier to clean or re-use than a mini nova or cartomiser?

I had a real mishap on one of those moving ramps. It was the down ramp and I didn't realise that the wheelchair wouldn't stick to the grooves like the trolleys do so I didn't apply the brake before we were fully on the ramp. The chair shot forward, pulling me with it and I couldn't reach the brake. I tried to shout a warning at the man ahead of us but he couldn't get out of the way and was kind of sandwiched between his trolley and the chair. I couldn't believe how gracious he was as he hobbled off clutching his leg. I keep well away from those ramps ever since.

That was fast, Greendollar. I thought it would be next Monday at the earliest. I haven't tried anything yet. Spent the past two days sorting my computer. Tip: don't ever use Windows Easy Transfer for moving files from one computer to another. May as well wait now until the Capella order arrives, whenever that may be. According to the tracking service, it took a day to go from San Marco to San Diego. That was three days ago, and there's no sign of it having been received anywhere else.
What are you using for testing the taste? I have a few vivi novas, but I don't fancy having to wash them out after each trial and error session. Think I have a couple of blank cartomisers somewhere, but they would only do for a couple of tests.

Yes, but on the plus side, the blue badge is a godsend in theme parks like Disney. My niece is treated like a celebrity there. Her siblings call it the magic card.

I have a close relative in a wheelchair. Negotiating the aisles in shops can be a nightmare. When pushing her out and about, I have been known to wish evil on: shopkeepers who put display units on the corners between aisles; whoever designed cinemas so the only accessible seats are right under the screen; stores with heavy push/pull doors on all but the most remote exit, and places where you need to find a keyholder to access the toilet (probably necessary to prevent selfish gits using the wheelchair loo to skip the queue). I despair at some of the supposedly accessible toilets. Hard enough when you're the mobile person doing the pushing, but it must be soul destroying for wheelchair users trying to manage on their own.
I always find that most people - staff and the general public- go out of their way to help us and are very understanding when we accidentally bump into them.
