Thanks! Not sure what to advise her to buy then. May be old but it’s a tank she likes. I hear ya, not a judgement just an explanation. It's a 3 year old product, i would be surprised if Innokin are even still making them. Can't recommend a different option that produces a similar vape, that style of vape isn't to my taste so not sure what alternatives there are. If i were after some though i would put a wanted ad in the classified section of the forum and other forums if you're on them, there's bound to be some people who had them and have moved on to different tanks and have them still knocking around in a draw or something. Thanks! Have posted in the wanted section. Fingers crossed.

Looking for an original iSub G tank. The 3.8ml one if anyone has one or two they don’t want please drop me a PM and let me know how much you’d like.
Thanks!

Nope not from the UK because of the TPD and it's quite an old tank so they don't even stock it any longer on the Chinese sites. Thanks! Not sure what to advise her to buy then. May be old but it’s a tank she likes.

As in the title. Friend wants to replace her iSub. Not bought any gear in a while. Since I stopped vaping the TPD regs had passed me but but seems now you can only get the mini with the 2ml capacity.
Is it not possible to get the 4ml one in the UK anymore?
Thanks

Reading between the lines, I hope. What you have to consider firstly is Age, Funny as it sounds the general vaper is young to middle aged, most blow in a sense Clouds, which to him as it was to people who I visited in a study group that introduced "vaping" to people with stage 4 cancer. They saw vapers as "Cloud Chasers", or "It's a new thing youngster's do" So this is the first thing you have to convince him about, that it could in fact prolong is life span, without blowing high VG cloud mixes.(That's if he wants to do this, because that's what vaping could do for him) Another alternative is "Snus" Google it and make a comparison. It may work for him. He lived with me for 4 years whilst I vaped. So he knows full well that it isn’t all big clouds and youngsters (haha sorry reading that back it sounds a bit aggressive, obviously I don’t mean it like that). He saw me go from ego pens to sub Ohms but most of my vaping life was spent using a pro tank two and a 20w iStick. If you read my post above it may shed a bit more light on why I’ve given up so easily.

You could try getting him a set up and setting it up, leave it at his and he may just pick it up and give it a try one day. Sounds half arsed but may be worth a try ....with no one around to 'hassle' him, he might just sway towards it in his own time....just a thought. I’ve actually kept some of my vape gear so there is a set up there ready to go. But I won’t hold my breath.

Well. Went to the local vape shop today. He’s decided he’d like to ‘think about it’ which is my uncle speak for ‘I don’t want to quit smoking stop harassing me’ So I shall let him get on with it. If lung cancer isn’t enough of a kick up the backside then nothing ever will be. Thanks everyone. Sorry to hear your uncle has been diagnosed with lung cancer Jerri . We lost my Dad to cancer on 27th May 2015 and having followed your thread, it mirrors what happened here with us. Although my Dad did stop smoking ................................ the day after he was diagnosed. He still had a packet of fags in the house with five left in it, about three weeks after his diagnosis, he lifted the packet, crushed it, put it in the bin, looked me square in the eye and his words were" about 50 years too late with that". He did have a half hearted attempt at vaping when I switched over after I had a heart attack due to 30 years on the stinkies, but it was exactly that, half hearted. I never looked for, nor wanted sympathy when that happened to me then, nor do I need sympathy now. What I did need then was help to get through the tough time after it. I got that help from family and friends, but the biggest help of all were the people here on this forum. The start of my vaping journey wasn't exactly trouble free, but the Help and encouragement I got here was priceless. I hope the penny drops with your uncle Jerri and takes you up on the offer of helping him get off the fags, as I can tell you, there are a couple of things probably going around in his head he won't admit to. One being, he was probably of the mindset that this type of thing only happens to other people, the "it'll never happen to me" syndrome and yes, I'll hold my hands up to that one too. But here is probably the biggest one and it is still the thing about it all that I have trouble with. I can live with what happened to me, what I do have trouble coming to terms with is what I put my family through watching it all. Something my father also admitted 3/4 months after his diagnosis. Good luck going forward with this Jerri , whether it's stubbornness, too set in his ways or dare I say, selfishness that is causing his present stance on switching to vaping. He's completely missed the point that someone cares so much for him. To be honest. I don’t think it will. My mum had 7 brothers and sisters and he is the baby. He’s always been babied and despite being almost 70 years of age he hasn’t got a clue hot to be an adult. I honestly think he is under the impression that like with everything else in his life, someone else will sort it for him. If he quits smoking he’d actually have to be the one doing the work. Nobody could do it for him. And I honestly think that’s why he’s not interested. My mum died of cancer December the 1st 2012. He lost his sister in law to cancer last year, both his brothers had prostrate cancer. So it’s not as though he’s not seen the effect cancer has on not just the patient but everyone that cares about them. He’s just waiting for someone to step in and fix it all for him. And sadly for him when he realises that can’t and isn’t going to happen, it may be too late.

You've tried Jerri . . . . and you can do no more than that. Silly chappie. Exactly. He’s always been a stubborn idiot. In the hospital before he saw the oncologist I said to him ‘would you consider vaping’ he point blank said no. The oncologist had a moan at him so he seemingly just went along with her when he knew full well he had no intention of even trying. It’s annoying but you can’t help someone who doesn’t want to be helped. Silly chap is being very nice about it 😂

Thanks. I may take you up on the offer but I’m going to the local vape shop with him on a day or so. So he can see what he wants. He thinks the iStick is too big. Hoping I can change his mind. How many of us said that when we started out Jerri! I'm sure you'll be able to talk him round. Hope so! If he thinks the iStick is big god help him if he ever decides to get a mod!

Sorry to hear of Your Uncle's diagnosis... Re. Tobacco liquids, I only vape 'baccy...& mainly diy NETs. I'd therefore endorse the prev. suggestions from HoL & Bestciggy as about the best available here......BUT...I'd think twice about recommending these liquids for someone just starting out vaping due to the way that coils will need constant care/replacement....wouldn't want Your Unc. to get p-d off with vaping b4 He'd really started!! I speak from experience as I was trying to vape Bestcig. juices in Mini-Pro-Tanks when I started vaping 4 yrs. ago....the constant re-wicking/changing coils was v. frustrating! I'd go with Hangsen to pair wiv 'beginner' kit as Their juices are much cleaner....& the range of different 'baccies is fantastic. I’ll have a look. I’ve not heard of hangsen for years!!

Jerri I've a mini Naut and a new Assa copy of it plus a new pack of coils if you want them, you can have them cheap £12.90 posted RM 2nd class? Thanks. I may take you up on the offer but I’m going to the local vape shop with him on a day or so. So he can see what he wants. He thinks the iStick is too big. Hoping I can change his mind.

Only vape tobacco liquids, and the best by a country mile, in my honest opinion is house of liquid cigarillos, closest thing I've tried that's like a ciggie, it's not cheap, over a fiver for 10mls, but it's kept me off of the fags for over three years, would also say something like a nautilus on a Istick should do a decent job to start, at least you know the coils are easily available, Best wishes Cheers Glen Thanks, will check it out. Thanks, will take a look. I actually still have a 40w iStick so he can have that, just need a tank, didn't think of a nautilous
