doctorjellybean - been following this post, admirably managed by Postmodern Smoking, and wondered how the mixing went? Once you've done it the first time, you will be surprised just how easy it is. I've been mixing my own juice for over 5 years, and still use syringes and measuring flasks for larger batches. Here#'s hoping you have the bug now, and you will start experimenting with other concentrates

I can agree with others here - I bought some replacements for a few pence each from Fasttech. I carefully removed the old wrap (retaining the circular 'washer' insulator), slid the new wrap on and re-positioned the insulator holding it in place with some ceramic tweezers, then used SWMBO's hairdryer to shrink the new wrap on. A quick roll on a tabletop afterwards while the wrap is still warm/hot will remove any wrinkles. I was rather nervous, but having done this a few times now, am more relaxed about the process, which takes about a minute per battery start to finish.

I found a lot of the recent links are going through ad Click sites first so depends on what extensions you have on your browser. I only use AdBlocker, but have AAEC on my whitelist, so shouldn't be a problem there . . .

The plot thickens - I'm using Google Chrome Version 61.0.3163.100 (Official Build) (64-bit) and if I left-click links, they get me to a blank page. However, if I right click and select 'open link in a new tab' it works every time! I'm now officially confused!

I've noticed that some links, most notably those to Fasttech, but other sites too, just give a :blank page. Is it just me, or are others noticing this too? Help would be appreciated, I'm losing out on the shinyitis big time here! Thanks in advance, Andy B

Cigarette - £35 for a taxi from Falmouth to 2 miles short of Redruth 2 years ago when I mis-read the bus timetable; not a mistake i can afford to make too often!

If authorities are serious about enticing folks away from their cars and onto Public Transport, then it is high time that those same authorities tried using the dammed "transport" and realised how bloody awkward and inconvenient it actually is. Here here! I'm in a similar situation down in Cornwall, and almost 2 miles walk from the train station. A simple trip to Truro to have a few drinks with friends turns into a major military operation. Walk 2 miles to train station, 12 minute journey to Truro, half mile walk to pub(s), leave just as things are getting going to catch last train back at 10.30pm, then a slightly weaving 2 mile walk home, visiting a few hedges for relief on the way home (I'm not getting any younger in that department!). Last week was invited to Falmouth for a similar drinks meet, but had to decline as they wanted to start at 10.00pm, and the last bus back leaves at 10.15pm!

I have heard of laptops etc. becoming 'unwell' from a surfeit of VG in their workings, although I use mine whilst vaping at it with, so far, no unwanted happenings. I am now tasked with cleaning our house windows and mirrors once a week which is no hardship, just 10 minutes with a bottle of glass leaner and a cloth. I also clean my van windows every couple of weeks although like lobeydosser I travel with the window open in all weathers to dissipate the steam from my mod. It is a small price to pay for enjoying my vaping, I think!

I've been following this thread, and also to chat on Facebook regarding this particular company. As striker42 says, you now have the definite proof for Trading Standards to do something concrete. Personally, I wouldn't hesitate in contacting them and if necessary, directing them to this forum and thread for further proof if it was needed. What irresponsibility! This vendor (if he can indeed be called that) should be hauled over the coals and the book thrown at him. To risk property and lives just to make a quick buck, and then having the gall to again send out fake goods whilst supposedly replacing faulty goods is nothing short of immoral. I'll watch this from the sidelines, but I hope that you get justice and, more importantly, your money back in full.

I must admit I don't understand Exeter Airport's stance on vaping gear, or more specifically e-liquid. The larger airports are all fine about it, but Exeter specify that all 'nicotine refills' are banned. I would love to hear from anyone who can explain this policy - it is the airport's, not the carrier's, so it all gets a bit confusing!

jaye12 - it may sound complicated, but once you start mixing, it all becomes a lot clearer! Your problem is that you would like to mix a liquid at 18mg/ml, but the Nic Shots are at that strength as it's the highest nic available post-TPD. Obviously as soon as you start to add PG, VG, or flavourings to your nic shot, you start to dilute it and the strength drops. If you are able to get hold of some nic base at 72mg/ml, then mixing your chosen ratio of juice becomes possible because of the 'headroom' a higher concentration of nicotine allows. Hope this helps - if it doesn't, tell us what bit you don't get and we'll help some more
