You have, however reminded me that I've been a bit of a wally - nobody has them yet...

Was hoping there would be someone who just didn't get on with theirs, will have to try again in 6-8 weeks time!

Shame - I was hoping for a story full of rants, vaping politics and embarrassing anecdotes!

Tonight at 9pm the Rocket atomiser (www.rocketsciencemods.com/#details) goes on sale online. From what I gather the demand will far outweigh the supply - It's going to be a frenzy resulting in many broken dreams and F5 keys.

I'm sure I've seen one or two on here mention they have one - is it worth the angst and/or the cost of a new keyboard?

Just to break it down roughly in terms of content:

• General info on ecigs for beginners
• Hub for meet ups (essentially a calendar?)
• Blog
• Shop

It sounds like there could be quite a lot going on the site! If I were speaking to a client I would suggest that, done properly, each of the above warrants its own website.

In my mind the "general info on ecigs" part could be quite succinct or like the vapers' version of Wikipedia - it would probably be useful to have at least an outline of the quantity and structure of the content you have in mind.

If you're doing this on a budget then you ought to be able to find a lot of the functionality in free or open source projects. A bespoke solution to do all this could easily set you back several thousand pounds and I personally wouldn't have much faith in anyone who said they could do it for less. You would still need to find a domain and website hosting, then you would need a content management system to run the site on, a theme and probably a few plugins to provide the extra features that you're after.

There is an element of "every problem looking like a nail" here but I expect you could find everything you need using WordPress as your platform - its ubiquity means that there is a vast selection of themes & plugins to choose from, albeit of quality varying from amazing to abysmal.
