The rounding error should now be fixed: padiho's Lemon ice30ml @ 12mg/ml, 50/50 Nic base(54mg/ml, 100/0) | 22% | 6.67ml | PG | 10% | 2.93ml | VG | 50% | 15.00ml | Extreme ice | 15% | 4.50ml | Lemon | 3% | 0.90ml |

I'm 99% sure it was from FW. However I have had it for some time and the label isn't very clear now. The only other ones I have bought are from Mt Baker and a couple from Alba. Perhaps they no longer do it. Sorry Nick if I've got it wrong There's really no need to apologise - it's really not that important and I'm very grateful to have you guys prodding around and giving me feedback!

Some of the flavouring manufacturers are making it far too easy to harvest their complete list of concentrates - Flavor West and Mom & Pop flavourings now added. padiho, just for fun I copied your recipe to try and match the flavourings ( dot1ml.com/mixer/cvl06r) but couldn't find a Flavor West lemon concentrate. I couldn't find it on the FW site either - am I missing something?

Oops, my bad - the formula is using the rounded percentages intended for display rather than the accurate values. Should be a simple enough fix but my other half has just made a batch of chocolate custard to round off the weekend so it'll have to wait! Thanks for pointing out the problem padiho.

I've been having a play with the mechanics for the autocomplete feature over the past week and all seems sound. So, today I've spent a couple of hours going through the CCW, TPA, Capella and Flavour Art websites harvesting flavours. These are online now and the autocomplete appears to be working rather well! Check it out: dot1ml.com/mixer(just start typing in the ingredient name field) Edit - Inawera & Lorann flavourings now added too.

rich64 Interoperability amongst recipe formats is going to be a tricky one for a while I reckon. Not sure if I've been looking at the right ones but it looks like the images that chykensa has been generating (apologies if it is somebody else!) don't have the same information that dot1ml needs to create a recipe. At a glance though, the file format that EJMU uses is very non-cryptic and I reckon I could probably add in a feature to download the recipe as an EJMU file. If dot1ml starts getting a sizable user-base then importing/exporting in other formats will take a higher priority on my to do list - I'm sure there are some interesting things we could explore. Not sure exactly what you meant re "link option to ingredients" but I have a few things in mind regarding the input of ingredient names - more will be revealed when I have time to work on the implementation.

I've made a recipe BB code generator: the idea is to provide a button that copies the code to your clipboard so that you can easily paste it into forum posts. The end result should look something like this: wobblybootie's Butterscotch Bliss30ml @ 12mg/ml, 70/30 Nic base(27mg/ml, 100/0) | 44% | 13.20ml | PG | 1% | 0.30ml | VG | 30% | 9.00ml | CCW Butterscotch | 12% | 3.60ml | TPA Caramel (Origional) | 8% | 2.40ml | TPA Baverian Cream | 3% | 0.90ml | TPA Dolce De Leche | 1% | 0.30ml | Eythel M | 1% | 0.30ml |
Edit/copy/share this recipe: dot1ml.com/mixer/5vpme7jNote - I haven't added this to the site yet, just wanted to find out if you guys thought the format would be useful.

Indeed - I counted 15 different flavouring suppliers on a quick first pass and I sure there are more! Thanks for the links Perpetua, I may well need them soon!

chykensa & Wobblybootie - I think I'll just leave the red text in there as the warning for the time being. Negative values aren't an easy one to explain concisely (which probably indicates that I should elaborate at some stage). Roger - Not sure I'll be able to make it work offline too I'm afraid, quite a few of the elements required to do so are outside of my skill set. Blownupdolly - Glad to hear it's working well on the iPad! Recipes (and their ingredients) are easy to edit after you've saved. So far the only bug I'm aware of is when you enter a nic base strength of 0mg/ml (leads to a division by zero and the universe collapsing on itself). Please do continue hammering away and give me a shout if anything breaks! One of the next features I hope to work is an auto-complete on the ingredient name so that it's easy to get flavouring names accurately, including the manufacturer. To do so I'll need an exhaustive (or as close as possible) list of the flavourings that the most popular manufacturers offer... Ideas anyone?

Thanks for your feedback - glad it's going down fairly well! On a downside, if this takes off I guess I'll be changing all the recipes on the new Recipe threads to this format! Andy That's the idea! Hopefully by then I will have come up with a slick way of including recipes into forums. I'm pleased with it ... I too like the preferred defaults option ... easy to use ... and I have yet to encounter the thing that really bugged me with EJMU the warning box re negative amounts which I found on a regular basis. What does the warning box do on EJMU? Currently on dot1ml, any ingredients that go negative should turn red. I had penciled in a more helpful error message for the future but may avoid doing this if it's just going to be annoying.

Thanks all! I was going to disable the sign up and restrict usage at first to ensure nothing was going to go horribly wrong with it but on reflection I've decided to leave it open and let anyone sign up. So - if anyone else fancies trying it out just head over to dot1ml.com and sign up. lemental - I decided to use the user name in the recipe name primarily so that the search doesn't end up filled with lots of duplicated names. Allowing people to change this would make the mixer form a little bit more complicated - something that I'm trying to keep as simple as possible. I'd like to leave it like this for the time being but will certainly consider making this an option if it is often requested. If you're feeling guilty for using someone else's recipe you can always do something like this: dot1ml.com/mixer/1apagobIn future I intend to implement a tagging system (or more accurately a hashtag system - like Twitter uses) that will hopefully allow recipes to be browsed more easily. For anyone wondering what hashtags are see this: support.twitter.com/entries/49309-what-are-hashtags-symbols

dot1ml is an online ejuice calculator that I've been building. There are still a few advanced features to be implemented but if you fancy signing up for an account do feel free. Feedback will be gratefully received in this thread. Edit - 23/08/2013: Support for uploading and downloading eJuice Me Up recipe files now added

I'll give it a go as well if I may Nick. Will it be Android or Ipad compatible out of interest? Sorry - forgot to answer: it should run fine in tablet browsers. I've been testing it on my Android tablet but I don't own an iPad and haven't had a chance to test it thoroughly on them. It should run fine on a phone browser too but I haven't yet optimised the layout for small screens so it looks a bit squished. This has been penciled in for future development assuming all goes well.
