Ok so I've blown £55 on songbooks & course DVDs beginner package, in for a penny in for a pound Hehe, that didnt take long did it When i first started learning my sister had a friend who played and showed me a few blues basics. Funny thing is now i struggle to lose that blues influence, not that its a bad thing i just hear a blues riff at the end of everything.lol.

apostle51 what pickups do you have in the Ibanez? Been looking at the new 24 fret version but not sure if I like it yet. Either that or a PRS custom 24 is next on the wish list. Won't be anytime soon though but no harm in dreaming Standard as far as i know, dimarzio fred at the bridge and PAF pro on the neck.

Heres my beauties Ibanez js1000 ( satriani signature series) Wanted to get one of these when they where released but costing the best part of £2k it wasnt gonna happen anytime soon. Snapped this one up on ebay for a measly £350 a few years ago. It was cheap because the neck had cracked and been repaired. A good job was done of it and i can guarantee if they neck was to break again it wouldnt be in the same place. Secondly my Epiphone Les Paul standard ( tobacco burst) It was a guitar i fell in love with nearly 20 years ago when i tried one out in my local guitar repair shop. Being only young i couldnt afford the £400 asking price and wasnt until my old Nan passed away and left me £200 it was the first thing i knew i should get with her gift as i knew i would always keep it and cherish it and i think of my Nan every-time i get this out.

I find www.justinguitar.com a really great online "free" tutorial. Hes an easy guy to follow and has gazillions of vids and covers a wide range of styles and abilities. If you want to you can also purchase his books which contain tabs and lessons that are all cross referenced with his youtube vids. Ninja'd

I emailed the show this this morning and was told id get a call back from the team...did i hell
I am one of the early adopters of the ecig, i started using them back in 2008 when it was just a handful of brits trying out this new tech. I said on the forums back then that when these things get popular (which they have) the government will seek to ban them. Not because of any proven science or health concerns because all international studies on them to date have proven them to be as safe as cafffiene, but strictly on lose of revenue. The annual nhs bill for smoking related diseases is estimated at £5 billion annually and the tax generated from tobacco sales is £11 billion, £6 billion is a lot of cash to lose. As for banning in public spaces, what rubbish, whatever happened to manners. I never use mine around people eating or enclosed spaces, not because of second hand vapour concerns ( because again thats been proven harmless) but its just manners. Pubs, restaraunts , shops and cafes should be able to set their own policies on ecig use on their premises and not require a law to force those policies on them.
Disappointing on the very short slot.
