Have bought from this company quite a few times over the last year or so without issue, service has been very good but received this message from them yesterday....

Was brought up on Motown, a strange combination.... tales of heartbreak laid over an uplifting uptempo melody.
It sparked a lifelong love of black American music & a 30 year vinyl obsession for me, spent most of my adult life thumbing through sales boxes in record bars, always went home with an empty wallet.
Had to sell up a few years back, very painful, but made a very good living for a couple of years, the music i love looked after me when i needed it the most.
As for the show, glad you had a good night out, they'll have to take it on tour & bring it further North to tempt me out though.

my understanding is if the device wants X ma of power at a given voltage (5V for usb) as long as the supply can provide enough or more ma then all is good so a 2a supply for an istick isnt a problem.. however when you have a device with a demand for more ma than the supply is rated for Then you can have problems as the device will try to suck more power than can be provided resulting in the supply overworking overheating and blowing/failing.. You're prolly right, but i always conjure up images of the lady behind the bar who's e-cig blew up 'cos she was charging it with her I-Phone charger. Think i'll stick with my 1amp max supply. |
