Blownupdolly I found some from torchy on ebay and they are protected, 800 mAH £9.49 for a pair. Efest brand I've been scouring the internet as the 1st pair I bought which state they are aw seem terrible (or my mini cube is... ???) Actually I'm quite frightened to find out as I love the look of it so much but I thought I'd best check it wasn't the 1st batteries that were at fault If you're a member over the road on UKV you can contact Torchy via PM, his prices are 10% lower to UKV members than on his Ebay site, still with free delivery.

Looking at mine from C9V, the top of the chimney reaches up inside the driptip housing so that it would almost make contact with your driptip when inserted. I'm not sure it needs to be that long to be honest but i think i'd rather have more length than less, after all, it's the only thing between you & a gob full of juice. The C9V nano kit has a slightly longer chimney as it is designed to use both nano rings for a small kayfun or just use 1 ring for a middle sized kayfun. The clone with a short chimney, you would have to use both nano rings. Alan Thanks for the explanation Alan, good to know there's nothing wrong with the one from modsandatties.

Be interesting to know if anyone has bought one of these & how it performs. I only posted the link as I saw that it was a few quid cheaper that the C9V original and a few quid for some folk is a lot of quid to others ... you pays your money and makes your choice. It isn't something that appeals to me whether clone or original .... I like big and I don't care what it looks like as long as it performs ... a bit like women if truth be told. Yes M8, i take your point & you're right, it is cheaper.

How do you find the Aqua mate compared to other 22mm silica atties? I am seriously tempted to give it a shot. The Aqua will test your coiling skills & patience, you need a 2nd pair of hands to make a tidy job in the chamber for this one. This thing floods for fun if you don't get it right, i seriously considered moving it on after the first week but stuck with it & i'm glad i did. I've set it up using various thicknesses of silica, most successful for me is 6mm silica for each coil, 3mm cut short to the coil & 3mm tail filling each of the 4 juice channels, running at 1.2ohms. Juice control fully closed, no problems wicking, AFC is a bit of a balancing act, too tight & you pull too much juice into the chamber. I'd say it's easily as good as a Taifun GT or Kayfun once you get it running consistently, but there are downsides, it's a 21mm atty which will be a stumbling block for some, it's a PITA to set up initially & it only has a 2ml capacity, you can increase capacity if you fill from the bottom though i haven't done that myself. Visited a M8 yesterday for some tips on how he set up his & he re-built it for me, dual micro coil & cotton 0.8ohms, this thing is great. Performing brilliantly set up this way, flavour, vapour & TH is more akin to a good dripper, lovely warm vapour too. Stripped it down today to get some practice setting it up with micro coil & cotton & i can't stop it flooding! Buddy reckons i've screwed up with the amount of cotton i'm using & i need to reduce the ohms on my coils to keep up with the juice flow. I've had a taste of how good this thing can be & i WILL master it, but for tonight i'm having a break & giving the Spheroid some love.

How? For when someone else has the same problem. Followed what VAPING BAD mentioned , I just left less of a gap between top of wick and centre post (so they almost touch) so seems it was a 'hot leg' as mentioned.
ginge7289 ....sorry I have no idea of ohms, no device to measure, and as mentioned also very new to wicking. Although I will say the coil does not light as quick as I thought and the middle two seem stronger than the top and bottom. Also in case i messed up my terminology when i refer to 4 wraps I mean i wrapped the wire around the wick 4 times....
apologies if i seem like an idiot!!!!......DOH!
ginge7289 is right, your resistance could be very low, make sure your batteries are up to the job.

It's part of a tape measure. How does it vape?
