Ive went Mom and Pops crazy - mixed up 4 x 20ml at 12mg nic 40/60 PG/VG with a drop of vodka in each also mixed another 20 ml of Pchelas Posion at 60/40 PG/VG The Tobbaco Dolce I mixed 10 or so days ago is lovely, the Pchelas Poison I mixed then Ive only about 2ml left - just cant leave it alone. Im mixing everything at 20% flavouring. I'm quite surprised by the tobacco dolce, at 20% it smells sweet yet when vaped it's just right, not too sweet and has that creamy dulce de leche background.

raff67 I get embarrassed some days when the postie turns up with a few parcels. Even more so when the postie thought I was Vamping We're dead posh here so I never normally see the postie unless it's a signed for parcel. I live in a group of apartments aka a Tenement in the center of cph, however believe it or not it's a law here that all the post boxes must be on the ground floor and at a certain height. Health and safety for the posties gone mad, they also got motorized bikes ... I'm not joking.

Sorry double post but I had one other pulled from room 101...A real weird one, it's a ploom model one beta - unused, yes back then they actually had the balls to put 'beta' on something rather than hiding behind revision numbers..hello CE cartomizers ! This was not a real e-cig as it was butane driven, so more a vapouriser in the pen style of the e-cigs of the day. You fed it with tobacco pods, though I've never used it and don't have the manual.

I ordered 3 pairs of panasonic 18650's and some ego batteries 7 days apart and the 4 orders all came at the same time today along with a signed for order from vapegear. Postie was a picture, 'you have a signed parcel..and this is for you..and this..and this...and this..and this one'. 2 weeks to get here, not bad for free shipping and beats the hell out of DX where you could get things turning up after 3 months.

I'd just like to say kudos to a couple of newish vendors(for me) that I've had recent orders from. Both answering shipping/order queries promptly and also very quick delivery, both under 2 days to DK is good going, quicker than some packages get to me when I'm back in Scotland...though I guess that really depends on how close they are to an international post depot. Kudos to vapegear and lesuireliquids, both excellent.

901, Good allround atty that lacked a bit of throat hit compared to the 510, later made up when the early low resistance attys came around. Far better flavour than the hot as hell 510's as well. I dunno why this did not remain popular. I've still got loads of 901 atomisers . . . and use them, plus a Mako Maksi and GGTB with 901 connections. Couldn't get enough of them when we used to do our group buys a couple of years ago. How times have changed indeed Raff. The mako was a great little mod, i had all 3 tubes. Imo it 'inspired' the switch on a lot of mods, inter-changeable connection heads were also a good idea. I still wonder about if flavour has improved from the days of 801 and 901's, be it either whatever form of cartomizer or rebuildable. I also found an early 901-510 adapter earler made by GD, if I remember rightly it cost me 20 quid ! Edit: Imo it was Janty that changed mainstream vaping with the ego, 510 connection and 650 mah battery which was a huge step up from the ciggie-likes. Even though they also had 801 penstyle ecigs at the time they went for the 510, the rest they say is history...

heh, just like the console wars there was connection wars, 801 and 901 were the most popular then along in late nov 2008 came the upstart 510. The 801 and 901 gave far better flavour than the 510 but the 510 had a lot better throat hit. Out of interest, do you know why that was? I thought 801, 901 and 510 were just different thread types? I can only say they were certainly all different in the build up inside the atomizer as well as the threads and each had a different vape.. 401/m40xx...these were common in cig-a-like start kits, pretty good vapour and throat hit from them but tiny tiny catridges 801..Very good flavour and vapour. Huge minus for me was they were a very airy draw and lacked in throat hit. 901, Good allround atty that lacked a bit of throat hit compared to the 510, later made up when the early low resistance attys came around. Far better flavour than the hot as hell 510's as well. I dunno why this did not remain popular.

So I was having a wee clear out of my cellar this morning and found some of my old gear, thought I'd share it... We did not have fancy variable voltage, variable wattage big huge tube battery holders. We did not have large capacity tanks that could last a whole day. We made do with tiny cartridges with a tiny bit of foam in them which lasted 10 puffs and needed filled up again. Left to right..A Janty Stick, the first mass produced chinese 'mod'. It took an 801 atomizer and was pretty fussy from which manufacturer. It takes a 10440 battery and can be used as a passthrough. Cost about 50 quid if I remember right when first released. It was the wee gripper done wrong. A Screwdriver, most will know what this is. This is an early experimental version which has a different connection set up. Takes a 901 atty and cost 100 quid ! Takes a 16430 battery. The switch was very easy to break but you could replace them yourself no problem, 2 for a tenner in a choice of black or red buttons, bargain ! A mini pipe, another early chinese 'mod'. This has a 801 atomizer and takes a 14250 battery. This was a cracking wee thing at the time, though you could empty a battery 30 mins. Cost about 40 quid for a set. A Little Cow, a Garry Dibbley torch mod. Has a 510 connection and takes either a 14500 or 18500 battery, it came with an insert tube if you were using 14500's. Cost, I can't remember. Probably the first device I had that could last nearly all day if moderate vaping. Not a mod, a battery. 5v vaping was a big trend back then, just before low resistance attys came about. It's a specially made 4 cell nihm 14650 400 mah battery that lasted no more than 30 mins and took an age to charge: The v1 charger that came with it was an absolute brick, about the same as an xbox power brick, which you connected up with crocodile leads to the battery holder.*shudders* They all still work ! Anyway, who says progress is not a good thing ?

I'm sure there's another proboards bug, everytime you open a thread you get an urge to buy something. I've only started posting since monday and so far i've accumulated a sigelei #19, another rsst and now a bunch of concentrates and have my eyes on a whole bunch of stuff that I don't need but want. I'm sure there was a reason I've stayed mostly away from e-cig forums for the past couple of years, can't remember why yet.

You normally get some mesh and a few inches of wire with the atomizer - the mesh will last ages so just get some kanthal wire as you may get through a few feet at the beginning. Not with the rsst, it's strangely device only for some reason.

For 50ish quid.. Sigelei Telescope 19and RSSTI would recommend the rsst over say an aga t for a beginner. The aga-s is another one that is easy to set up.

Bank holiday weekend here so having a lazy day and mixed some tobacco liquids up.. Black Honey Vanilla Tobacco 10ml of nic base 6 drops of tpa black honey tobacco 9 drops of tpa french vanilla deluxe 2 drops ethyl maltol An all day vape for me. When fresh the honey is more prominent though after a weeks steeping the honey sharpens up and becomes less sweet and more in the background. The vanilla does not add much sweetness, more a creaminess to the vape. Another one I've been mixing up regularly though I'm still experimenting.. 10 ml nic base 6 drops tpa m-type 8 drops tpa graham cracker 1 drop tpa coconut 2 drops ethyl maltol m-type tobacco concentrate is a marmite one, some say it tastes like biscuits, others a deep heat taste. Luckily I like it but this does need at least a weeks steeping, the coconut is optional but I like how it lightens this one up a bit, 1 drop is enough as it is extremely concentrated as is the m-type in this case. I'm not sure why but this comes out really thick even for a 50/50 mix. It's good with a pale ale. Also took delivery of 2 packages from leisureliquids yesterday, one took 15 days to get here, the other 2 days, go figure. So I've mixed all the mom & pops I have not tried at 20%...virginia fired cured, tobacco dolce, honey tobacco and conspiracy. That's me done for a few days.

I'm quite lucky over here as the 3 B&M shops nearby are pretty reasonable. Examples of my nearest one cph-vapours which i pass everyday and bought some evod heads last week, pack of 5 evod heads £8.25, an evic set is retailing at £66..or if you are needing a mini provari 2.5 in an emergency £121. One thing I noticed all are quite knowledgeable about the gear they sell, unlike the mobile fly by night stands with unbelievably high prices you get in the big shopping centers. The only downside here is the selling of nicotine liquid is banned though some shops seem to ignore that law. Also, all the supermarkets sell their own brands of e-cigs, either old skool style m401 ciggielikes or blister packs with an ego battery and a couple of cartos.
