at least i'm not the only one. one more thing, should the evod be silent? because i'm getting a sort of crackling sound put anouther peice of wick over the top of your coiled wick and it will stop it from spitting  |

Or going back to an earlier idea of mine, are we sticking bits of masking tape to our foreheads with our name on it? I haven't actually tried an evod head in a protank yet (should work though) I re-built the protank coil to 1.8ohms and I switched the protank knurled post for the smaller evod one..vaping great for me I think the 1.8ohm coil is key (the ones that came with it are 2.5ohm I think) I'm not sure if you can buy 1.8ohm heads for the protank? you can get them for the evod though from ivapour etc. its so easy to recoil these at 1.8 . , i do prefere 1.8 |

luckily the bottom wick came out of the bottom with the coil still coiled round it, so i just had a look for a reqicking video on you tube and just took the whole thing apart except the coil round the wick and put it back together and it's ok now i think. at this point the wick was dry so i filled it with a liquid i've not tried (usaw) that was 1 euro from ebnferro and what an impressive throat hit! haha, i think it's working alright now, it must have been over-tightening, i guess i just assumed to tighten it all the way. thanks for everyones help, i also just accidentally learned how to re-wick a head. thats great your now an evod expert, well done , now you know how easy it is to rewick  |

have you tried using an evod coil-unit instead of a protank one? the hole in the knurled post on an evod is much smaller might be worth a try why didn't i try that, ill try that in my next one |

@djs its the lavatube that is if your (LT) means lava tube they are known for it all my attys are airy on the LT the center pin has a slot in it allowing extra air flow to prove it drop it on an ego or any other battery they recommend a 510 sealed connector to reduce airflow t.b.h I've tried it on everything, on an ego with the plinth as tight as anything, it's still the same. I'm considering a swap on the classifieds. It's getting me down.....  aww no don't do that, block one of the holes up on the threaded tube. |

Think Ive done better robby ive solderd mine . sorted. Bomber, when you soldered your's did the heat damage the thread in anyway from the heat from the solder iron, i ain't got the best soldering iron and i don't wanna melt the thread in anyway. Also how many holes did you seal? just the one, and be carefull use just a small amount of solder |
