I finally caved in and bought an iTaste SVD earlier today. It came with an XTAR WP2 charger, 1 x Efest 1100/18500 and 1 x Efest 1600/18650 batteries. The batteries were charged at 0.5A, which took hours. Set the SVD to Variable Wattage Mode, 8.5P. I'm using the Protank 2 instead of the default IClear 30 Atomiser.
Unless I missed something, it is not performing the way I thought it would do. The power button doesn't light up as well as the iTaste VV v3.0, it's very difficult to see what it is in bright daylight. The hit is not as strong as I had hoped it would be, especially if I vape in succession. The latter could be the e-juice/coil. I would have liked to use the telescopic tube with the Protank 2, which doesn't seem possible.
I originally wanted the iTaste 134, but if I'm going to have the same issues as with the SVD, then maybe I won't bother.

That is actually not a bad price, £74.99 I noticed that the mini is the same price, so it is a bargain! So what did you go for doctorjellybean? I'm still undecided, especially as I have seen the iTaste SVD for £75, complete with batteries and charger. Talk about confusion

You need IMR unprotected battery for that one. What is that?

I'm in the process of getting an iTaste 134 from Myepack, which uses a single 18650 battery. I did send Myepack a message two days ago, asking what they recommend as they sell batteries and charges as well. I still have to hear from them.

FastTech is selling it for $107.26, which is roughly £62. On eBay it is anything from £70+ and up. I've seen the Mini for £99 on a UK store website. And then I would need batteries and a charger as well.

I have eight Kanger coils (heads) which have been "cleaned" more times than my dentures. I have read quite a bit on re-coiling, but I think I'd be better off building the next space shuttle. Wicking, dry burning, ohms ... Therefore, if there are any coilers with spare time who would be willing to re-coil my heads, I would very much appreciate it. Are they single coil heads? What setup do you want in them jellybean? Normal coil and silica or microcoil and cotton? Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 They are single coil heads: www.vapingvision.co.uk/products/kanger-evod-bcc-replacement-coil-x-5.htmlI have no idea what the difference is between Normal coil / silica and microcoil / cotton I believe the latter is better? Jelly bean I have always shied away from recoiling..however yesterday I did my first one. It really wasn't as difficult as I imagined at all. Just read super shiny's excellent tutorial on it. I also watched it being done on you tube. Try it, you may be surprised what you actually can do. I'm sure it isn't, but now might not be the time to try. Besides, it may be better to experience a re-coil from an expert and and see what the difference is first

cHooBeyDoo It's the throat hit, almost like vaping air at times. I've been vaping the same e-juice for months, 24mg which is the highest Hangsen apparently makes. tracerace1 I have the clearos which came with the iTaste VV, I guess I could try them again. The only thing is that it's thirstier than a Jag lol. lairey I have upped the wattage to 10, let's see if that makes a difference. As I understand, the vv automatically sets the voltage from the coil? According to the readout: A 2.2 and U 4.2

I get a good hit e.g. first thing in the morning. The next one is not too bad either, but then the hits drop if vaping in quick succession. This tends to happen through the day/night. If I leave it for an hour or so, then the first hit is good and then downhill again. At first I thought it was the coils (Kanger) and I would change them. The current has been in use for around 3 days. Batteries are fully charged as well. Is this normal?
iTaste vv3.0, Protank II and Kanger coils.

I am getting one tomorrow and will have a close look at the design. Are your replacement coils genuine Kanger ones? Yes, black box with KangerTech logo. The top of the battery pin is wet, seems that the juice is coming through between the base thread and the head. I'll disassemble and re-assemble everything again.

How old is the atomizer head? Not sure, under a year at the most. Maybe I'll need to pop into town in the morning and see if I can get a replacement head. Or perhaps something better than a Protank 2 which doesn't cost the earth? The iClears are too thirsty for my liking. - - Your atomizer head is under a year old or the entire Protank? The entire Protank. The only thing which I have changed on a regular basis are the coil units (I guess they are what you are referring to). I've just put a new one in, and it leaks.
