Q Mine was the same, thought tank would not screw on, But with using `rubber gloves` and exerting force it eventually screwed on. Unscrewed and re-screwed several times, now perfect. GIVE IT SOME WELLY. Good Luck. Going to try that jeffc one of mine doesn't like the plastic tank

Hi Guys, It's a question Ive seen asked a few times around and about so I thought I'd put it in an easy to find thread Kayfun O ring sizes and screw sizes. You can use these for spares although I highly recommend getting the deck screws if you have a clone as these come with pretty poopey, often rounded at the bottom, crummy screws that make it more difficult than it needs to be to trap your wires. I could post links but these are easily found on eBay by typing the dimensions and O ring or screws. Just make sure the screws are stainless. Hope this helps O RINGS- Fill screw O ring: 2mm inner diameter x 1mm wide.
- Chimney O ring: 5mm inner diameter x 1.5mm wide.
- Base and other sections: 18mm inner diameter x 1mm wide.
SCREWS- Deck screws: M1.6 x 0.3mm
- Fill hole screws:
Kayfun Lite: M2.5 Countersunk, length = 4mm (use this if the screw sits flush at the base). KFL+ : M2.5 Pan head, length = 4mm (use this if the screw is a round head and recessed in the hole).
Where would you get the deck screws from please, and what do you call the head type? I can't find any this size? Do you have a link?
Unfortunately I have the 'crummy' screws you mention on one of my kayfun clones
Oh, and thank you very much for posting this information, so much easier to have all the info in one thread

Managed to bag the last one from the previous batch, air hole is tiny (1mm) like trying to suck baked beans through a straw, so will have to drill it out. Oh dear, sorry to hear that Adam78 I liked them so much I bought 2 more a week later, one was very tight draw but opened the screw and it's fine, would taking the little screw out of the airflow altogether make a difference do you think?
