they do ,its been used in hospitals for years ,kills bacteria in the ventilation systems afaik

had mine for a couple of weeks now ,as said it is a heavy mod ,but im really liking it
one problem i have found is,every so often it asks for a new coil or same coil randomly ,quick press of the down button and all is fine ,just a minor issue imo
