Aww Frilly, I know all about that failing feeling  Ive had more "fails" than a blind learner driver, but if I can do it, anyone can, so dont be disheartened. Your new purchases may set you back on the right road, but if not, read my thread "FINALLY" here in this section. Ive just switched to glass clearos, called SMOK PYREX ARO clearos, and its changed it all for me. I personally found them much nicer being glass and not plastic, the taste and vape experience is so much better! Like you I used evods, and although I liked them at first, the SMOK is a million times better imho. At only a quid more than an evod, it holds a lot more liquid so less time faffing about filling it, the glass just seems better, and I think they look good too (just bought a nice pink one, very pretty) If you new stuff doesnt cut the mustard for you, possibly try the SMOK? It worked for me, you never know it might work for you to? I love them.....my new motto is ONCE YOUVE TRIED A SMOK, YOU WONT GO BOCK. (I know it should be "back", but it doesnt rhyme  ) |

Extremley Well Done  ooooh, what a lovely thing to say, thankyou charon!  I take my hat off to all of us who have managed to stop smoking, but many many of you have done much better than me, by stopping at once as soon as starting vaping, where as I had a bit of a shakey start. But I think Ive got there eventually. My problem is no will-power, and Im easily led...thats gotten me into trouble many a time over the years, being easily led. Thats why I used to get into so much trouble at school all those million years ago.... " Bebe, dare you to do this" "Nooooo!" "Oh Go ON!" I once organised a school-reunion and told everyone to meet in a pub called the Rose and Crown in Kingswood. I meant the Rose and Crown in Wick, and thats where I went. I thought I was the first one there, It was only when I got a text saying "where are you??!!" that I realised Id gone to the pub I thought was right, and everyone else was in Kingswood Dont leave ANYTHING up to me, we,d be spread all over the country!  Gaawd... this thread is bringing back so many memories! In the 70s I worked in Warmley, and 5 days a week 3 or 4 of us had our liquid lunch at the Rose & Crown in Wick, just up the road. That was in the days we could put it all on expenses, wouldn't get away with it now. The number of times, at about 3 o'clock in the afternoon, I used to say to my boss that I must get back to the office, and he used to say 'Who's your boss? You'll stay here and get pi**ed with the rest of us!'... Happy, happy days.  Lovely pub, the Rose and Crown. At Wick  We used to ride our horses up to it from Court Farm, Wick, and one of us would hold all the horses while the others would go in and get the drinks to bring out. Drunk in charge of horses? Sometimes I guess we were a bit squiffy |

Just tonight i was having a chain vape and beer while listening to Jamie Cullums last show on radio 2...  Jazz,Merlot and Vaping.....it is the new cool......  Thanks intelicide, cant beat a bit of Sinatra when theres a karaoke machine about. Or a bit of Bon Jovi. Or a bit of Etta James. Or a bit of anything that can be sung at full-force The last time I was at a karaoke bar I wouldnt get off, they had to unplug the mike!  Oh, the shame.... |

Wasnt even tempted, not in the least. Going for a glass or 5 at the pub is always usually connected to me smoking, it went hand-in-hand, like Nutella-on-toast, or Custard Creams and a cuppa tea, or NEW YORK NEW YORK and a Karaoke machine . (No? . Just me then...) Anyway, while others stood out in the chilly night, I just vaped Parma Violets over everyone. A hurdle crossed for me, but I never doubted myself for a second. |
