I am waiting on 3 parcels from fastech at the moment
1 posted on the 21st September via Hong Kong post
2 posted on the 26th September... 1 via Hong Kong and the other by Singapore post
The one via Singapore post arrived yesterday so I think the main problem they are having is with Hong Kong customs.
One of my other Chinese orders from filtercloth on ebay arrived this morning and that was posted on the 5th October via China post so even with the holidays China post still took the same 10 days as my previous order from them.
If Fastech don't want to go out of buisiness I think it is time they stopped using Hong Kong post because the service from them is absolute crap !!!!!

There will be a massive back log of everything Chinese at the moment after the recent Holiday period.
I am waiting on orders from about five different Chinese vendors most of them with pretty fast delivery and so far none have turned up.
It is always the same after they have a holiday .... over the years I have bought from there they always turn up eventually.
Fraid we can't get it all ways .... It's either cheap with a long wait or Two - three times the price with next day delivery from local suppliers

I've had numerous orders from Fasttech since March, not had any hassle at all, all arrived in good time, present and correct. I've also bought at Health Cabin, Vaporbreak, Heavengifts with no probs either.  I must have had at least 30 deliveries from China over the last while and never been stung using the slow boat, used DHL option from Health cabin and got hit both times.... strange thing was I had several other orders from them with much higher value that sailed through no probs on the slow boat. Looks to me like the problem is with DHL and not customs ..... bit of a coincidence that both times I got caught DHL got £6 and HMRC only got about £2 .... nice little earner for them that is !!! Top dollar postage rate and an extra £6 every time they shop you !!!!! I for one will never use DHL again  |
