Ha Ha Chrissie, Graham said we should stop for the night and see some more of Cornwall tomorrow, so we haven't got very far up the road! Thank you, for the lovely tour! Just can't get used to the steep hills, legs aching, but so worth it for the views! Love the cats too

Found internet again whoopee!! The Foo Fighter's sound crew started doing sound checks at 5.55am last saturday Nearly fell out of bed! Sorry Jerry, my language is a bit colourful! I would like to say a huge thank you to Perpy and Chrissie for looking after us this week. It was really good to meet you both! We are now "parked" up for the night at another premier Inn at Bodmin. The internet coverage is not working in Exmoor, so it has been a novelty to not have mobile phone or internet, but not a bad thing. Jerry, we went to Dunster Castle yesterday and took lots of photos. I will upload some when we get home

Hi Collie, yes I like the Foo's too, but this bloke had my blood boiling, thought he could get his wicked way with innocent twits of girls. I made him feel like a tw*t after 3 minutes. Oh dear it is amazing how morons like him can put on a fawning innocent front just to get what they want. And Yes women fall for it ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? Sad and yes he is very sad, I had hoped that women had got the better of morons like this, but obviously not... shame. It is a shame that there is always a preditory bloodsucking thing that women feel drawn to, and no matter how much they flatter, they flatter to deceive

Well the first leg of the journey was easy and we arrived at Furzton lake Premier Inn for a stop over. Oh HECK! It is smack bang next door to the Foo Fighters concert, they aren't playing until tomorrow, but there is so much excitement outside, they are practically peeing themselves!
There is a bloke outside with a big gob, and he is going on about how good he has been to the group and how they owe him a big debt of gratitude! All the little girls are listening to his bull. ( couldn't think of a word describing without expletives) If he is associated with the group, what the hell is he doing at the premier inn. Jeez, Some people are gullible with bells on, don't you think!!!!! Going outside now to have a nice chat with the lovely gentleman, may have to be a bit firm lol. Next leg will be arriving at Upton, if I haven't been arrested at Milton Keynes.

Thanks Jerry, Some say ghosts and some say echos, what ever they are, I wouldn't want to meet one. Would you still not think about going back to that bush, with some folk for company?

JERRRRYY !!!!! That is a very funny thread, and I just can't read any more, my eye balls ache. I looked around 31st October and still couldn't find it. By the way, I think the best Stephen King books and films are The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile I had to register as Tywysoges, because I couldn't have Katfish I will get round to reading it all after my hols (vacation )

Jerry, you will love this! When I was a kid, my Ma moved us to Northern Ireland, as she was working as a groom, for a family that lived in a castle. It is called Quintin Castle as I remember, and it was really spooky. There is a room in the west tower that is painted black with a white pentangle on the floor. In the gardens there is a large fenced off area of quicksand, all this to a child was the stuff of dreams. It belonged to a chap called Skeets and his wife Paddy. Paddy used to go to the local cattle market and buy half dead calves. She would revive them by feeding them brandy, (the good stuff) and letting them sleep in her bedroom! It was a very strange set up as husband and wife hated each other and occupied opposite ends of the castle. It was haunted too. I never saw her though ??? Thanks Chrissie, have PMed back

Hi Lisa, I think you are right about going unplanned I once took Graham on a scenic route to Southwold beach and we ended up spending the day at Framlingham Castle, which was lovely! All of Sam's places look fantastic, allthough I didn't get round to googling a Pollack! Hi Chrissie, Graham says if you have the kettle on he will find you, and I will be map reading, so we are bound to find you by accident Can't wait
