Wednesday it is Chrissie  Will PM you tomorrow for directions if OK with you. We don't have sat nav, we have a map and an arguement usually Thanks Fisherman, that all sound lovely, except for the dreaded CIDER! Everyone seems to love it. Jerry likes the hard core stuff  I just want to remember the holiday, and enjoy the countyside, without a thumping headache, passing out or puking! Going to google the Quantocks, (sounds a bit rude!) |

I love the taste of cider, but went to a place near Evesham, called the Monkey House. You paid a fiver for a glass and dipped into the barrels. Finishing the glass meant chewing the bits in the bottom. Half an hour later I was seeing little blue devils and then passed out whilst sitting at traffic lights DOH Verey, where has your avatar gone? Will follow the coast road thanks! River, I wish I COULD drink cider |

The OH and I are heading for the West Country on Saturday, and apart from visiting with Chrissie and her world famous cats, we don't have anything planned. We have never been to the West Country, (been and resided everywhere else in the British Isles) so please can anyone help with non touristy things to see?? I once went 40 miles out of my way to have a pint at the Glynn arms in Dudley, (known as the crooked house, you didn't need any more than a pint to feel unsteady!) So quirky and unusual would be great! Any Ideas greatly appreciated  |

Fortunately not Jerry! The poor soul is allergic to wasp stings and horse fly bites though!  And why do they sting him and not me? He got a wasp sting above his eye and he swelled up like a prize fighter. I do feel sorry for him as they seem to head straight for him. |
