Unfortunately I am going to need another 901 to 510 adapter!!! Oh crumbs, I'm breaking out in a cold sweat just thinking about it Are Kat proof ones available to buy anywhere? I won't be able to use my 109 without one, ( the very patient and long suffering Sean is fixing it for me, bless him!) Had a long chat with Sean about modding and the soldering gun is coming out of the packaging now. Don't worry, he told me not to touch the metal bit, cos it will be a tad hot! Great tip Sean, thanks, I dont want a repeat of the hot brick shuffle after GRINDING the atty Sean asked me if I really did use that blerdy great GRINDER to get at that pesky adapter and YES I DID Fantastic, everyone should have a great big GRINDER, they are most theraputic. I have been looking around for metal to GRIND, just for the hell of it. My eye settled on our ancient russel hobbs kettle, that drives me mad, because it sounds like a 747 taking off. I thought GRIND the top off and stick a plant in. I could DRILL holes in the bottom. Double whammy of joy Graham said we are not going to buy a new kettle, just because you want to GRIND the old one ??? Oh well

Graham says a huge thank you for all your kind words!!!!!!!! It didn't seem to matter, that the police, family and friends all said he did a great job. I think it was seeing it here in print, that helped him!!! Agreed men are so very good at hiding their emotions, and I certainly didn't want him getting back in that lorry, with those thoughts rolling around in his head. So huge thanks from me too Now just waiting for some really good news about Alesha, because she truly is a miracle!

Thank you Dee, I am hoping he will find comfort from the kind words from you and Jerry! He is such a strong man, but I think everyone's week spot is a child and I can't imagine the horror that went through his mind. Just feel for the family who have lost a Father/Husband.

I think we vapers develop a mischievous need to do it anywhere, and see what happens mentality. I can't help myself, I have a quick vape and look around to see if anyone notices. Trouble is no-one does

Thank you Jerry, you have said exactly the same as me, but my poor man is still re-living that moment and will for some time to come. Sometimes the what if's torture you, when the actual event is put aside.

I know what your idea is Ian, yes I have figured it out for myself You are going to make the prototype of the 109 vaping portaloo, FLUSH and SNIFF, I think you may need stronger juice for that one bud, but I am sure you can do it I will never be able to look at a portaloo without thinking of you

Please don't read this if your are squeamish.
My OH was at work yesterday morning, driving his 44 tonne lorry towards Felixstowe on the A14.
At 04.25 a car overtook him doing around 75 miles per hour. It kicked up dust on the central reservation and then veered violently left and barrel rolled. All sorts of debris came out of the car and littered the road.
G. decided to drive over a bag of rubbish to get nearer to the car to help the occupants. He realised at the last second that the bag of rubbish was a small child sitting upright in the road.
He slammed the brakes and managed to stop his lorry about 7 feet from the child.
He picked up the 18 month old girl and held her as she was crying, and all she had was blood coming from her nose. He feared the worst (head injury.)
He started to walk towards the car to check it out, when something caught his eye on the verge.
The was a man there and G. checked for a pulse, but there was none. G said he looked really peaceful, like he was asleep, and there wasn't a mark on him.
There was no-one else in the car, thankfully.
G. held and comforted the little girl until the emergency services got there and they took her away.
G. carried on working, but all he could think about was what would of happened if he hadn't stopped in time. He got home around 2pm visably shaken and IMO suffering with shock.
G. received a call from a traffic bobby this morning saying the little girl was stable in hospital, with pulminary oedema, but doctors are hopeful for a full recovery.
An 18 month old child being thrown out of a rolling car, is a sickening thought, the fact that she is still alive is a miracle!
So... what happened? G. said there were no brake lights on. Did the poor man fall asleep, was he distacted by the babe? That is something we will never know, BUT it brings it all home, when you see morons reading maps, putting on make-up, or other such idiotic pursuits, whilst they are driving, how lucky they are not to be dead.

I have spent the last half hour looking for the blerdy dictionary, because I didn't like the sound of opprobthingy, only to find I am in a modding competition with our Ian There is no competition, my "hormonal" mod will be at the least the mark 8 version, after I have attacked the first seven with the lump hammer. We are talking at least October before the Kat mod comes out, ( probably photographed from a great distance without a flash.) I will be interested to see if Ian can mod a litre thermos flask though!

No Jerry, allthough I have found the remnants of (Chucky) to be very interesting, especially the very short and MEAN wick, I will be using entirely new bits for my modding exploits. I have decided to call it mooding, because it all depends......... I was going to start on a box mood, but the thought of vaping on a Kat box made me feel a bit sick I think my first outing in the Mooding department will be quite interesting as I have bought a large roll of duct tape, just in case

Many thanks to Sean All is quiet and serene! My first mod may take a while (and may look like something the dog did) but it will be a DOOOOOOOOZEY
