Hi Chrissie, he bobs his tail up and down, so could he be a pied wagtail? I don't know what he is, but I know he is confused!

Hi Scylla, He is a liitle cute, but he will cr*p all over my van! I have tried covering up my windows and mirrors, but he still thinks there is another bird in there! He lands on the van before I turn the engine off and goes mental pecking my wing mirrors. He is A oversexed and underprivileged, or B spoiling for a fight I threw an old horse blanket over the van after I took his photo, so he cr*pped on that

Ah up Darth, hope you can run upstairs without sounding like Vader now! Isn't it nice to breathe through the nose, instead of gasping for breath like a fish out of water?

Hi Holycow and Lee I have only been a non smoker for eight weeks. I chucked money at it for the first four weeks, but have calmed down a bit now I think I was a little panicky about running out of juice and spare bits and bobs. The absolutely wonderful people on this forum have been very patient with my lack of knowledge and countless questions, and I don't think I could have done it without them Welcome from Kat

I am claiming a partial victory I can now, thanks to everyones advice, vape on one of the red tank attys, Yeah As long as I keep it vertical it vapes nicely. It gets quite hot, but not as hot as the other one! The other one must be a duffer, because there is no vapour and you practically have to lie down to vape it ??? It still has the nasty burnt plastic taste YUK. If anyone would like it, to prove that Kat is the duffer, I would be happy to send it to you I don't want to throw it away, if someone more knowledgeable can get it going. (just realised what I said, everyone will want it now!)

Thank Perpy I will try that tomorrow, I will use a new cart and widen the hole and give it a thorough testing. Just can't see why I can use the same cart in two different attys and have such a FUBAR in the red ones > Perhaps if I try hard enough I'll beat the bugger I'm not one to give up on anything, but that burnt plastic taste is a yakker >

Thats right. you have to get it right for a new vaper on a budget, because there isn't money to throw around if your first choice fails. It may be a faulty atomiser or a battery that needs charging after 20 minutes, but whatever it is, its a failure. It could be like me, and you don't know that you have to keep dripping juice into your atomiser. It sounds stupid to me now, but if I hadn't bothered to ask you guys what the problem was I would have gone straight back to the devil > Your first experience with something is key. I know this because the first time I tried to swim at school, some eejit shoved my head under. I was 7 years old. Can't swim won't swim. Tried with people I trust. Still can't swim. Avoid like the plague in fact. I don't want others to feel this way about vaping.

Oh Yes the 510 is perfect for taste and vapour, I bought one for my first outing, but the batteries didn't last very long. Chrissie's link is for a larger battery than mine so off there now for a longer look

Oh yes Chrissie, how do you advise when friend A thinks £10 is a lot of money and friend B thinks £50 is nothing ??? BUT friend A spends £40 per week smoking on a budget. Friend B spends £15 per week on rollies because they go across the water on a regular basis for work and earn loads of wonga. Ironic Friend A is in the money trap and cannot fork out for vaping kit. Friend B isn't bothered, because he can get tobacco on the cheap so why stop. Never mind friend A is getting a helping hand Friend B is welcome to smoke in my house as usual. Nowt to queer as folk

Hi Tang, I agree the TW tornado tank is brilliant. Just make sure everything you buy is black. I bought red and they don't work. It is very easy to refill your carts and they last me ages. I am a heavy vaper, so get through 3 a day, but the batteries are good especially the pass through one. I have mine attached to the computer at home and attached to a usb car charger on the move, excellent

Thank you Scylla nothing will put me off vaping I'm pleased to report that my Ma, who has smoked for 60 years, has high blood pressure and diabetis, is now puffing away on a BLACK tank and phoned me up this morning to tell me she had changed her cart and put her battery on charge! Whoop Whoop On the subject of putting people off, we are all consumers on a budget and I think the worst possible thing for new vapers is to be out of pocket. We all need value for money and we all need very good instructions with e-cigs. Unfortunately the instuctions are not good for new vapers and need to be improved. If I hadn't found this forum and you lovely people, I think I would still be a cougher Hey I don't mind doing my 50 mile round trip to take Ma her filled carts for the week. She can't see to do them herself. She is 79 years old and is trying something new... RESPECT

Thanks BTB, I have tried to wick the red attys as you suggest and have been using one all day. It doesn't wick the juice and I still get the horrid burnt plastic taste. I have measured the red ones against the black ones, and the only difference is..... The red attys wicks are 1mm lower inside the casing than the black ones. Surely this would not constitute the huge difference in performance between the two attys. I have only managed to draw half a cartridge of juice from the red one all day. I am now back on the black one and it is wonderful. Lots of white vapour (it is a dirty grey colour off the other atty) and lots of flavour. I am pretty confident that I have giveb enough time and effort to the red ones, and I can say that the TW black attys are lovely, but TW red ones are PANTS >

OK my results are in! Firstly the 510 attys I bought from TW can't handle the tornado battery Secondly they get very hot on a 510 battery, so no use for a heavy vaper like me The 510 atty that I bought from vapour world works brill on a tornado batt The 2 extra attys I bought for my TW tank are pants (they are colour red so not to confuse with OH's tank.) Horrid burning plastic taste. The black ones are fine In conclusion potential new customers will be lost if they get a gob full of burning plastic. Established customers will go elsewhere if they waste money on kit that doesn't work. I am a very open minded person, but if my first vape had been on that red tank atty, I would have run a mile
