First off, I am a UD Goblin Mini fan. I have 3 and love them all, but yesterday I was browsing around with nothing to wick or juice to make and came across a tutorial for the RTA deck on the Isub tank. The video ended with the remark that the "S" version was his favourite, and as I have owned both the original plastic and the "G" versions, I had a look around and the tank and RTA deck kit currently sit in my basket, and have done so for 24hrs! Something other than the lack of funds is stopping me from pushing the "buy" button, so if anyone who owns the iSub S, RTA kit and maybe the Goblin Mini could give some advice it may help me from wasting hours pondering my life away and allow me to spend the time rewicking and making juice of which I have no need to do.

How I disassemble my Goblin Mini A pair of Marigolds (traditional yellow colour, work best) are your best friend when taking the tank section apart as the metal caps are thin and hard to grip with bare hands, also the afc levers can dig into your bare skin while you attempt to unscrew them. 1st attempt and job done. Now you are ready to clean the parts and protect your skin at the same time from the HOT water and cleaning chemicals.

To be quite honest, the v2 is performing exactly the same as the v1 in both flavour and vapour, which is no bad thing.
Worth upgrading from the v1? Only if the bottom fill screw and glass drip tip really was a major issue.
Looking at both versions on the same mod, I would have to say looks wise, I think the v2 is more clunky, whilst the v1 has a smaller (although they are both the same dimensions), minimalistic and classy look about it.

How I fill my Goblin Mini v2 Holding the tank at an angle, add juice quickly through the lower fiiling slot as this allows the air to escape out of the top filling slot. Slowly tilt the tank back upright as it becomes full, just like filling a beer glass. Screw the top cap back on but only a few turns as any more will seal the tank forcing air pressure to push the juice and flood your coil. In one action turn the tank upside down and at the same time screw the top cap fully on. This needs to be done together, so that as you are turning the tank upside down, you are screwing the cap fully on at the same time which keeps the juice away from the coil end while any remaining air pressure travels out. Beginning to end should be completed within 10 seconds as once you have added juice to the tank and the top cap remains off, then the level in the tank will try and equalise and start to enter the chimney area to do so.

This is basically how I wick mine expcept instead of cutting off the top tails I tuck them down the barrel to catch any excess juice Good idea, I will give this a go next time and see what differences this produces. Its tips like this for the Goblin Mini all to be found in one place that will be useful to everyone.

Thanks chykensa, I originally created this to help another member who I had sold a Goblin Mini to and thought it may help others as well, but it is only my way and not "the way" to wick this little beast, but it works for me. A picture as they say is worth a thousand words and as I have been accused of not being the most concise person when explaining myself, I gave this method a go using my phone camera and shut my mouth.

How I wick my Goblin Mini. Peel back and remove the outer thin woven sheet from both sides of a Muji pad. This will give you the correct thickness for the following procedure. Cut a strip that is twice the width of the inside diameter of your coil. Remember to cut the strip in line with the cotton grain. Wet your thumb and finger of both hands and create a sausage roll of cotton by holding an end in both then twisting back and forth. Feed the cotton through the coil and trim in line with the inside of the base gasket. Blow hard on the cotton ends to fluff them up and using a cocktail stick, divide with half pointing up ( which will be cut off later ) and half pushed down into the juice channel right to the bottom. Using a pair of sharp scissors cut the cotton ends that were pointing up off as close to the coil as possible at a 45 degree angle as shown. Using a juice bottle, wet the juice channel ends of the cotton and stick them into the channels so that they will not catch when the chimney is screwed back on later. Using a cocktail stick, check there is clearance between the wick and base here to help with air flow around the coil and prevent flooding down into the air flow slots and onto the mod. Finally!! Apply juice to the rest of the cotton to form one tail. Check that the cotton wicks will not foul on the chimney and push any excess cotton out of the way back towards the coil or down the juice channel. With the chimney fitted it will look like this. Notice that you have plenty of air flow in front of the two coils. No need to push or prod the cotton, you're all done!

If i knew what to do with it i would take it,a bit advanced for me. A similar reply I gave to my wife on our second date, but as with most things you soon get the hang of it over the years.

Urmmm, ok so I would like somebody to purchase and have the opportunity to experience one of the best flavour/vapour RTA's available, so to sweeten the deal, I have added a extra green Pyrex glass tank to the bundle that I normally use with my other Goblin mini.

Got my black one from optimum vapes. Over £30 but worth it. And still in stock. But at £34 with the postage I'm going to have to let something else go in the classies to part fund this new addition. Now lets go have a look in the vape shed he said as he carried a hatchet towards the hen coop
