Hi, I want to make up a 10ml mix but it says (3.60ml of 50mg strength of Nic adative ) I only have 70 mg strength of nic. What amount of this do I use to get it right? Thanks. What says to use 50ml nic base? As babs said, use the calculator for ease. If your not 100% sure, post your recipe, and someone will check it over

I'm with Perpetua. The best way to dispose of it would be to add some more PG/VG & some flavouring. Put it in an atomiser and watch it go up in a cloud of vapour. I wouldnt recommend that, mark. He should wrap it in bubble wrap, then brown paper, stick a stamp on it and send it to me! I could then safely dispose of it, like you suggested.

My money is on a piece of swarf from the airflow hole is shorting to the centre post.
As has been said, completely dismantle the device, including the build deck by unscrewing the centre pin. Give it a damned good clean, removing all swarf and foreign bodies.
Then, hopefully, Bob's yer Aunt Fanny's husband!

David. There will be many suggestions for starting out, and your collection will possibly grow and grow. I'll let others suggest gear - but I started, from a 3-4 oz drum/week with 2 ego batteries, a couple of (rubbish) ce4/ce5 clearos, couple evods, and various 18 & 24mg juices. To this day, I have never vaped a baccy flavoured juice. I've changed my gear, and now vape 7.2mg homebrew juice using mech mods and kayfun style devices. Enjoy your time here, no question is stupid, and most importantly, enjoy vaping.

Noticed that the taifun clone or whatever it was that was on just before it wasn't saying out of stock when you clicked on it but the stingray was when you clicked on the pic to bring up the instant kill page. Curiouser and curiouser. Anywho I got excited like I do when I'm bidding on ebay stuff so it kept me out of mischief for a bit I bet someone will have an app to bid for you at exactly the right time like there are for Ebay auctions before long Its not just clicking the button - you then have to type in the 4 digit number that's written amongst scribble. I can vouch that the hourseckill is real (or certainly used to be), as I won a ego battery, charger and chi-vod, all nicely packaged in a spectacles case for the princely sum of $0.19. Thanks for doing it in UK time Foclecig.

@johanino Chrissie and Perpetua I'm afraid I'm too cheap to be spending any large amounts of money on extra equipment, I'm hoping to be able to machine a sleeve type of gubbins that'll just slip over the stuff I already have. Although a friend of mine tells me that the Spinner II looks like some sort of injecting device they use in Star Trek. Its only once I become really obsessed with it that I'll start to become ridiculous, although looking at some of the prices it'll take a bit of saving before I start all that icon_shoppingm For now it'll just be cheap alternativesFasttech & focalecig Hi chykensa and thank you, I've had a quick look at the tutorial vids for that and thankfully it looks reasonably easy and I won't have to buy any extra tools for it I'm going to wait a little while before I start tinkering with things though, I don't want to exhaust all my options too early That'll never happen! There's too many options. The heads (including spares) you both have with your atties will wear out pretty soon, in the scheme of things. The cheapass thing to do, is get some wire from vape-mesh-atomiser-co if you want different sizes, or clairea posted another site where you can get 10m for 1.90 delivered (i think it was). That's marginally more than a single new head! 10m would be at least enough wire to recoil 100-150 heads, depending on how frugal you are with wastage.

Start supporting aaec utd then. We just signed fred and ronaldo, you may have seen them at the world cup. Sorry mate, I got a note off me mam saying I've not got to do anything more energetic than lifting my vamo. Hate football! Sport on telly! Do they not have special channels that you can pay extortionate amounts of money for? Somwhy, when I was at the outlaws the othernday, were they flicking between golf, tennis, cycling and motor racing, all on welfare TV? Then, that evening, two of the channels were invaded by football? Can I get a rebate on the TV license? And back to the most important topic of the thread - autism. I remember some time back, seeing a programming on the telly. An autistic lad, who'd never been to London, took a 10min helicopter ride over the city. When back on firm ground, he drew a picture perfect square mile of the vista he saw whilst up there. Wow! That to me, is special talent, not special needs.

Thanks folks! you can tell I'm new to all this as I never even thought of testers, I'm on Info overload at the moment, if anyone knows a juice that adds brain cells please let me know,,, Mow,,, I believe 'hellfire' and 'crab juice' have been reported to improve brain capacity (YouTube is your friend here ) If you don't like water, I find a good pint (or several) of snakebite is a good substitute (or any fluid, really!) to the forum, and congrats on your 8 weeks.

I started with 18 & 24 mg. Started mixing at 18. Dropped to 15. Dropped to 12. Said sod it, if I mix at 7.2, it will make calculating and measuring sooooo much easier. So here I am at 7.2mg/ml. Probably vaping more juice, but I think that's due to micro-coiled kayfuns rather than silica coiled evods¿ Next time I drop, if I do, it'll be 3.6 or 3.75 (depends which base I pull out the freezer), to keep it simple again. Its so much easier measuring 5 or 10ml than 7.62495418117ml

I suppose the "Nitty Gritty" of what I am getting to is: What is a reasonable Warranty on a Ecig? For me if it has a integral battery like an Ego then I think the minimum warranty you should expect is 6 months. For a VV device with a separate battery like a Vamo or a SVD also Mechanical Mods I would expect it to last for a year. Does anyone think this is unreasonable? I think you're bob on there! And your certainly shouldn't be paying extra for any warranty. Only cowboys on the money-grabbing-band-waggon would do this! ps- my warranty ran out years ago

OK- so having done a bit of research (sorry, using tablet, so no links), I have come up with : Assume: An average ego battery will recharge 300 times. An average user will charge a battery once a day. The sale of goods act will cover the battery for 300 days (~10 months) If the battery fails for ANY reason within 10 months, I believe the Small Claims Court and the sale of goods act, would rule in the favour of the consumer. This threat should chivvy up any unscrupulous vendor. Theyd have to send someone to defend their case, at more cost to themselves, than replacing the faulty item. Finally, I don't think the credit card claim is valid for items under £100. Oops - not finally - got at least 2 more things! Under DSR (or whatever the new name is) you can return it up to 14 days for any reason. A vendor can write what they want in their t+c, but English and Euro law will ALWAYS trump them. This time finally, I agree 100% with everything Greg said up there.

Don't think 0.65A is too much! Nitcore i4 charges at 0.75A, when only using 2 channels. ronaldo will know?

I would think that under the sale of goods act, a battery could reasonably be expected to last 3 months. This being the case, no warranty needed. A battery would certainly be expected to last longer than 3 days, so not even sure if it's legal.
Care to share, Des? As that seems REALLY underhand to me.
