So, everything together comes to £130ish which seems ...reasonable!For me: itaste v3, Protank v2 (x3) + airflow controller (x3) with spare Ego charger and spare EVOD battery 1000mah For him: Vision spinner (x2), aeroflow MOW, spare Ego charger I've added 5 coils; three of the medium size and one each of the others. HAVE I FORGOTTEN ANYTHING OR DO I NEED TO CHANGE ANYTHING? He'll probably need more than 1 tank, but he could 'borrow' 1 of your protanks, till you both work out how its all working, etc

What output does it have.... An ego charger SHOULD be regulated to output 500ma @ 4.2 volts. Which SHOULD draw 420ma @ 5 volts from whatever power source you use. If everything is working as it should, any USB supply would do (over 420ma) Problems can arise when the charger does not regulate properly and draws too much current from the supply. If a 420ma supply is used, it can not over current. If a high amp power supply is used with a dodgy charger, the daily fail could get involved. Reputable dealer probably = reputable charger?

Depends where she's getting them from I suppose? Technically, they should be regulated to only draw 420ma. If its a Friday afternoon China special, who knows. If its a vapeescape charger, I'd say it'd be OK. ronaldo ?

One that says "Output 5v 500ma“ would be best, in relation to what @agenthoover said.
I used to use the kindle one which is 800ma output.

I meant an adaptor plus lead not an all-in-one plug & lead. But now I'm second-guessing myself! (thinking specifically of what we use with our Samsung Galaxy S4, Google Nexus, Sony Xperia Z and Samsung Galaxy Tab) OK - forget ecigs for just a mo. With any of the ones you mention can you remove the wire from the plug, leaving a USB hole? [ETA: like perp's photo] If yes, it'll be OK. If still in doubt, post a photo We'd hate for you to get sorted, then not be able to plug it in.

We've a variety of mains adaptors for smartphone/tablet USB leads. Will they do the job? They should be fine Kitty . . . I'm always really wary of charging anything off a laptop. kitty778 No,No, No........ Not necessarily. If you mean a plug with wire with mini/micro USB, all in one it won't do! If the wire unplugs from the wall plug so you have a plug that you can plug USB into (kindle & iPhone) that wall plug will do. You've had some great advice on this thread and seem to have made some good choices.

No I don't wash the cotton. I use Boots Baby Essentials and think its just fine as it comes. I cant see boots selling stuff soaked in pesticides for babies, but I could be wrong.
Maybe Pixilocks should try with some unwashed cotton.

It all has its pro's and cons fred... nothing in vaping is perfect...clearo's get dry hits cartos run dry.... Hmmmm! - ce4s and novas maybe if you don't swirl them enough, but I personally, have never had a problem with any bcc I've used. Think I've still got 3 of the 5 cartos left from my first kit that I've not used. Just didn't like them although I will admit, they gave better flavour than ce4/5. Still, got my microcoiled and cottoned kayfuns now - full flavour and never a dry hit!

OK - when cartos runout they are worse than rank.
Clearos don't need to run out, as you can see they need more juice.
Newbie friendly!

Thanks. I'm already comparing various things on myepack as knew from research it was a trusted site with sensible prices. It's a surprise birthday present for my flatmate, who tried giving smoking up earlier this year (I've never tried). What I'm looking for is recommendations for each of us that will provide airflow control and variable voltage, in an overall cylinder shape? And your reasons for recommendations. Thanks for all the posts so far! Definitely a provari, then Just to add something constructive, anything you buy that is 510/ego threaded will work with everything else - which is just about everything you can buy these days. Just shout up before you pull the trigger, if you're not sure, and someone will confirm.
