You didn't skimp on replacement heads then? Don't throw the spent ones away though - think I said before, you can easily rewick them, and you'll be thankful you kept the, at a later date.

VapingBad - thanks for that. I sent him some 0.6 and 1mm ribbon, so although he's got no 0.8, its another pointer for him! Now you mention it, that screw may look a different colour, and there's always the possibility that markus added a washer to trap the ribbon better? Its not the taste of metal he'll need to worry about - its the rhubarb and custard remnants that my yts cleaning monkey might have left behind -,don't have ultrasonic, and there's only so much a denture tablet can do. Still, I think markus had had something fruity in the protank?

markus that looks good. . Your earth screw and washer look a bit corrodedwick can give a funky taste. A tip for using ribbon is to wrap the lose end around the top leg as a heat sink (pic). I never had a winking problem with 2.5 or 3 mm rope even with the fill plug in, you can remove the centre strand of rope if you do, so the rope is more of a tube. Think that's juice in the screw, and the 'washer' is actually wire. Don't remember any corrosion, and certainly no washer as I built it Sunday night! Think markus has a spare screw along with the 'nutted' centrepost, if it is. What size is that ribbon, VapingBad and what resistance is the coil, please? Edited to put pertinent bit of vb's post back in! Somewhoe it got replaced by a bracket

I got a d2 so I could keep my i2 at work, and I would have to stick a vote for the d2 in here. The extra info on the screen is really useful, it's a great little charger. I'm sure I read on this forum somewhere that the i4 split it's charge between the 4 bays, so it's not actually charging 4 batteries quicker than swapping batts in an i2. I don't know if the d4 is the same, but that's why I got the d2, plus it's cheaper. If you can wait they are a good price on ft. i2 = 500ma per bay i4 = 375ma per bay (using all 4) i4 = 750ma per bay (when using 2 bays on different channels) So the i4 will charge 2 batts quicker than an i2 if you put them in the correct slots And its only cheaper by a few quid (2 i2s cost a lot more than 1 i4)

Just to add, mints and menthols will be pretty much ready to vape as soon as they land.
“But I never liked menthol fags“ I hear you say. Doesn't matter, I'd still recommend you get some, as when you get vapers tongue (when everything tastes rubbish, and it will happen) a mint or menthol can reset your mouth. As can a glass of milk!

Even if charging at 2a is safe, surely it will put a lot more stress on the battery than charging at 0.5a or 0.75a?

Power = watts = volts x amps Input = 12 x 1 = 12w Output = 4.2 x 2 = 8.4w

If there is a problem, the “sale of goods act“ is your friend.
It can reasonably be expected for a charger to last more than 4 months!

What is the input voltage? And I don't think it would be safe to charge a battery at 2a. ronaldo????

my intelicharger i2 ids doing funky things on one of the charging channels ive only had it 4 month but it has been in constant use time for new toy what do you peps recommend and were to get it at a reasonable price not sure if i want 4 or 2 batt charger and kinda need it pretty quick of im gona be stuck on a vv3 epps Only 4months? Once you get something to tide you over, I'd be contacting the supplier for a replacement! I love my i4, and if and when I need to replace it, I think I'll be going for a d4. Go 4 bay. If you only want to charge 2, you can. But you can never charge 4 in a 2 bay. (+ i2 charges at 500ma. i4 charges 2 at 750ma!)
