They say on the letter that they have told me any work will probably NOT solve the problem and they have told me that yet i have still agreed to have it done, they have NOT told me that and if they know it won't work then they know what the problem is surely. That letter needs to go to a solicitor for them to reply to Wimpey with the highlighted. As you say, they obviously know there is a problem, they obviously know what that problem is, why would the do the work if they know it wont work and furthermore, why would you agree to the upheaval if it won't solve the problem? - Muppets!!
Keep at it Yorkshireman, I think you're still making grand progress, and with a bit of legal help, you'll probably get the outcome you desire. Good Luck

I would not sign until the work is completed to your satisfaction (although this could prevent the work taking place) If you do sign, get a 'legal bod' to check out this would not stop you claiming for different problems, before you sign. (Did you find any 'free legal help' from any bank/insurance/etc? If not, could one of your children (sorry if you don't have any - just brainstorming) or someone pretend to have the problem, and seek free advice on one of their polices?)
It may be worth finding out which company they will instruct to carry out the works - how confident are they, that they can solve the sound problem? Will they guarantee the work, so if there is still a problem, would you have recourse to call them back out, rather than wimpey?
It sounds like you've got them on the run, Yorkshireman - keep at it - you'll get there
Do wimpey homes build wimpey homes?

I had a thread somewhere regarding CCW Coconut, and I can't remember the exact train of thought, but as dragon, said, possibly because its a tank cracker or possibly as it uses alcohol as a solvent. Needless to say, I've been merrily using my CCW Coconut. I'll tag 28VapesLater & Frogster (The Alchemist) for you

OK - so if you use: 2ml 12% aroma 3.25ml 50/50 54mg nic base 3.3ml PG 1.45ml VG You will end up with 10ml @ 19.95mg/ml 20% flavour approx 60/40 PG/VG.
But kos you wanted 70/30, so 2ml 12% aroma 3.25ml 50/50 54mg nic base 4.175ml PG 0.575ml VG You will end up with 10ml @ 19.95mg/ml 20% flavour 70/30 PG/VG. This is assuming the flavour is 60/40 PG/VG - that is the ratio they say to mix on their website.

Fasttech do the Nitecore i4 for £12.74. 3 stage LED indicators on each of the 4 channels. Only got 18350s at the mo, but charges them well, & it's not caught fire yet

testdruifAs I said, i'm no electrical engineer, but as far as I'm aware, it doesn't matter how much current you throw at that board, it will still only output 5V @ 1a. That board has a rated output of 2a max (3a with heatsink) Been for just over half an hour, and realised you're talking about the second board he linked to. I knew I couldn't be right and you be wrong - you know what you're doing I was talking about the first board he linked which I'm still sure is only 1a ? Phew.....

Then I really wonder what they put into those usb only passthrough thingies as they only operate via usb (computer or charger) and work just fine ....... Personally, I don't get how passthroughs can really work when connected to a computer. USB spec is 500ma, which is nowwhere near enough to power a PV - but I'm no electrical engineer - just kind of remember ohms law from some time back (maybe ohms law is updated for the new millenium? )It's not something I'm familiar with - I know they do ego-type passthroughs which include a battery - so the battery is on charge, even when being vaped. If my logic (& I'm no Vulcan) is correct, you could theoretically run it out? But are there devices available as "passthrough-only" (ie no battery)? On a computer that adheres to the USB spec, such a device would be limited to 5v @ 0.5a - thus producing only 2.5W? Maybe raid2506, Mev, or markm (sure he used to have mod-maker status) could shed some light?
