lol I'd hardly call him a troll. Most trolls are pretty good at what they do, working the members slowly ...... then dropping the hammer AFTER they have got them stirred up. His post on "Clones" seemed to be okay to me, just an opinion and nothing more. On this thread I think he lost the plot a little, but a lot of people had been jumping on his back. A word in his ear sounds okay, but a ban seems a little excessive. After all, freedom of speech and all that jazz .............. Sometimes, new members do get lorded over by established members, it is a part of most web forums, but in a way it is no less unacceptable. He may have got out of line, but lets be honest, he wasn't the only one. Back to my tea ....... Jag. (I guess I could take a holiday. Paid leave?) From my reading of the thread he may not be a 'troll' but he was clearly hell-bent on winding up other members - I would call him a 'wind up merchant' but that's just my view. His tone throughout was intensely patronising, and he lost no time in attacking other members' characters and morals simply because they disagreed with his personal stance on clones. He certainly suggested that 'Fiddles' was dishonest (at least that's my reading of his post). Whatever the merits of his stance I think his behaviour was unacceptable. I welcome his 7 day suspension, and hope he will return with a better and more respectful attitude to other members' opinions.

I'm old enough to remember when we pointed ever-increasing numbers of nuclear-tipped ICBMs at each other - by and large I think I prefer aerial arrays!

Good Choice! I think you're going to be very happy with the 3.1 If I was only allowed to use one atomiser the Kayfun 3.1 is what I would choose. My faves so far (in order of preference): Kayfun 3.1, Ithaka, Mister, Nautilus/Terminator. For me they are all good, but the Kayfun still rules!

Can you use a plastic drip on these kayfuns? Just noticed fasttech have them on shipped in 12 days:https://www.fasttech.com/products/1/10006473/1494700-svoemesto-kayfun-v3-1-es-rebuildable-atomizer-4 The 3.1 comes with a screw-in 510 drip tip adapter. You simply unscrew the factory tip and fit the adapter, and then any standard drip tip can be used. ETA: I'm talking about the genuine Kayfun here - I don't know if the clones will come with a drip tip adapter.

A guy I work with let me try his KFL and I found it very airy (too airy for me). Some people put a scrap of mesh in the air hole to tighten up the draw.
I have the 3.1 and I would not swap it for anything I have tried. For me the airflow control is a critical factor in getting the best out of the Kayfun (it effectively acts as an airflow and juiceflow control, so it alters just how rich a vape you get). I have the airflow control screw screwed in a fair bit as I like a bit of resistance. With the airflow control screw all the way out the 3.1 is probably just as airy a the Lite.
I recently bought a second 3.1 (I like it that much!). I have had no problems with the filling valves. I know a guy who has 4(!) and he has had no problems either - but I have read that some folks have.
I think it is crucial to only use the correct filling bottle and to invert the atomiser and use the 'pulsing' technique when filling. I have no other atomiser which is so quick, efficient, clean and pleasant to fill. However I have been told that if you use a standard needle bottle to fill (even once) you will almost certainly wreck the valve seat. I have also heard that some 100% VG juices (the high viscosity ones) can gum up the filling valve and make it stick - possibly causing a leak. You can however backflush the valve to clean it out. However the 3.1 is maybe not the best atomiser for thick juices.
I have had my first 3.1 for about 4 months now, and it continues to perform faultlessly day after day. The build quality is also stellar. I know there are clones about now, but I doubt any will beat the original!

Not sure what your budget is but a friend of mine just bought this one: www.kernowvapes.co.uk/DHX_-_028_telescope/p2086842_10433389.aspxand I have to say I'm very impressed with the quality. He says the performance rivals much more expensive mods he owns (he bought this one for work). I have a Roller and a Dingo (from Atmizoo) which I love and recommend wholeheartedly - but they're a bit more pricey. Both the Roller and Dingo work superbly with a Kick. I hear lots of good things about the Magneto though, and I suspect it's unbeatable at the price!

Received my Dingo today from Simon. Absolutely 'as advertised' and I'm delighted with it. The mod was beautifully packed and dispatched very promptly.
An ideal transaction and a very pleasant guy to deal with. Would definitely recommend and deal with again.

If they failed to explain that it was a single coil version then you should ask for a refund if it is unused. To me the whole point of the Iclear is that it is dual coil.

I guess it's a matter of taste, but I much prefer my Ithaka in dual coil mode. It increases the throat hit which I find very satisfying. However I tried the Kayfun with dual coils and I much prefer it single coiled - so I guess it does depend on the atomiser you're using. I'm guessing the Kayfun was designed for single coil, whereas the Ithaka was definitely designed with dual coiling in mind. It's worth trying both modes though to see which you prefer. There is no 'right' way - just whatever suits you
