His 'Culture' series is one of the most interesting imaginary universes I have had the pleasure to be invited into.
I have read and re-read it over and over again, stunning writing, 'player of games' is one I often return to most.
I have also read through his general fiction bibliography, the wasp factory is my favourite, great book with an impressive end game, but I'm a more into sci-fi.
He will be missed.

Just had a fun few days of meetings in Frankfurt, one of my colleagues was a vaper  He was using a Kanger EVOD kit with this Orange juice from hisVape in Germany hisvape.net/vapes/liquid-non-tobacco/smooth/10ml/888/orange-county-smoothAnyway, he gave me a spare bottle to sample (18mg / 55%PG / 35%VG / 10% Distilled Water), I obviously returned the 'flavour' (geddit?) with the remains of some of my Druide (Absinthe) and Liquorice. So, 18mg is a bit of a bump in nic for me, I usually vape at 6mg all day long. Opening the top give a strong scent of a freshly squeezed OJ and Sunny delight, it's the weirdest combination... I filled a spare EVOD (2.0Ohms) with it and fired up a VAMO at 7.5W, good strong lingering throat hit (probably me not being used to 18mg), medium flavour a lovely cloud on the exhale. The flavour doesn't seem to stay for too long, but definitely triggers the saliva glands. I don't get any of the fresh OJ flavour, more of a strong orange cordial taste... which I really dislike as I have an allergy to one of the common ingredients in orange juice concentrates which triggers my Asthma. although this doesn't, it is so close a flavour to drinking orange squash I have a psychosomatic reaction to it! I have no idea if they ship to the UK, can't find any detail on their website (which has an English option at the top right). anyway, if you love orange squash or Sunny D, give it a whirl Paul. |

One trick I use, is to mix all my concentrates as single flavours at 'known' suitable ratios for each flavour, often 15..20%. Then my final decision is what to decant into a new blend, usually ready to vape as the bases have already steeped. Interestingly additional steeping of these blends can also alter the final flavours. Works for me |

Interesting thread, I actually want a cloudy mix for one of my recipes, but can't achieve it without compromising the flavour. One sure fire way to cloud a bottle is anise extract and water , I know you have been playing with anise... Cross contamination? A drop of anise from a reused syringe? |

Is there any real point in adding any caffeine to ejuice?
I would have thought that as such a large amount (in mg) is required to have any effect in comparison to the tiny amount of nicotine required that it would have no impact on the body.
I know DV do have some caffeinated concentrates if that helps.

I have been searching all over the place for it. I think any vendor would do well to stock it now that scorpions blood seems to be the current big thing. It is very very aniseed.
