Makes it quite expensive compared to using nicbase from what i am looking at then. Any ideas on how to calculate Nic Salts? It seems this is also a new way to use Nic albeit it seems to be mostly used in pod type systems. The same . . . . although from what I've read, they give a cleaner more direct hit than freebase - so users have reported lowering their normal strength to compensate. If you're looking for higher strength nic base supplier, I can PM you a link. I see, so shortfills and nic shots are pretty much to be used at max 6mg but if i use some 72mg nicbase then i don't have to use as much liquid therefore not diluting the flavour as much. Yes. So if i were to buy a shortfill i just have to try and calculate how much of my 72mg nic i have to add to attain my desired nic level for the whole bottle? Or if i buy 18mg nic shots and i want to attain say a 12mg overall nic level from a 120ml shortfill bottle i would have to add 8x 10 ml bottles. is that correct? I don't think that Perpetua 's table is strictly correct... according to my calculations/ e-juice me up "nic combine tool" But if you are wanting to make 12mg/ml... with nichots, you will be diluting the shortfill liquid A LOT! If however you use 72mg/ml nicbase, it would be more acceptable. Shortfill bottles and nic shots are only of use together to achieve low nic e-liquid.
50ml of 0 nic e-liquid (in a 60ml bottle) plus one 10ml 18mg/ml nicshot will make 60ml of 3mg/ml e-liquid.
50ml of 0 nic e-liquid (in a 60ml bottle) plus two 10ml 18mg/ml nicshot will make 70ml of 5.1mg/ml e-liquid. ... but I'm unsure whether a 60ml nominal bottle will fit 70ml?? ---- They still can be used to make stronger e-liquid if 72mg/ml nicbase is available: 50ml of 0 nic e-liquid (in a 60ml bottle) plus one 10ml 72mg/ml nicbase will make 60ml of 12mg/ml e-liquid. ---- What strength e-liquid are you looking to achieve stu1873 ? I am looking to achieve a mixture of 6mg, 12mg and 18mg to use with my various tanks that are either DL or MTL mate |

I do still mix my own liquids and i just used concentrates for flavouring but i have been noticing sellers selling shortfill's and nic shot's. What's the deal with using this method? I take it this has come about from the TPD regulation a while ago?
As i had a stash of 72mg nic i have been using up that but i have been looking for new flavours i have come across this new method.
Can anyone please explain to me how you go about getting the correct nic level from one of these shortfill bottles?
