My KFL just landed, done my first coil on it using 3mm Ekowool in a figure of 8 and so far it seems to be working perfect.  Seen the method in this thread linkHave it on my Evic also, @8w and the flavour is very nice with loads of vaper. So far i dont mind the airy draw, maybe that is because i usually vape a protank which is quite airy already. |

best thing to do, is empty all the juice out, keep pulsing the coil until the vaper stops and the coil glows again.
the idea is to get all the coils glowing at the same time and evenly, it can be fiddly but its worth it and with practice becomes easier to do, i use a needle or a toothpick to do this

did u have any hot spots? that is a part of the coil usually at top near centre post that glowed first and more brightly?

I have recoiled some CE4''s berfore, is that similar? i used some 1mm silica wick and 32 awg kanthal wire. i looped the silica wick trhough 3 times so i got the 3 strand hanging down each side wire here linksilica here link |

If the wick is soaked in juice, the coil wont glow. is it producing vaper?

I got busy mixing today,  done 30mls Roms Rhubarb and Custard 2 x 5ml of Apple Pie & Custard (trying different recipes) 5ml of Toffee Apple 2 x 5ml of Raspberry Cheesecake (trying different recipes) then 2 x 30ml 0% nic mix of PVC and Roms Rhubarb and Custard for my cousin |

Yep.
Personally i use the VW on my Evic, just set the wattage and the Evic works out the voltage automatically afaik.
I usually vape at 6.5w-9.0w depending on Clearo and/or juice

Hi, what strength ejuice do u usually vape at abd what PG/VG ratio? as by the time u add some PG and VG and flavourings it wont be at 18mg strength any more. personally its better to buy the 54mg strength nic and dilute it to suit your tastes.
All u usually need to mix is nic base, PG and VG liquids, a couple of syringes, usually 1ml and 5ml will do for now and a few bottles to store the juice and some flavouring.
U can get everything u need off ltecigs.
How about browsing our recipe thread and just buy the flavourings u need for a recipe u like the look of?

I have finally got some time to make some mixes, and as i am only going to do some 5ml samples, i thought it would be easier to make a batch of base and then just add the flavourings to it.
So i am after amounts to make
10mg nic
50/50 ratio
I have about 6 recipes i want to try (thx chykensa for organising the recipes) so will need about 24ml of base.
So i am thinking, if flavourings are about 20% of total,
a 5ml base mix would be
Nic 0.93ml
PG 0.57ml
VG 2.5ml
So then i would just have to add 1ml of Flavouring/s
Have i worked it out right?
