No worries kailey. It's quite good to hear from them that they are both vegetable based. I don't know why but if I had the choice, I would prefer something that came coconuts rather than a horse!

Just got a reply back from Thornton & Ross who have the license for the Care glycerin. The Care stuff is also vegetable based:

That's a bit cheeky of them. They're both listed as the same price on the Boots website. My nearest Boots has the Value stuff at £1.29 and the one a bit further away has the Care stuff at the same price.
When I was buying empty bottles, I rang one store and they told me they were 50p. Went to another store and they wanted £1.20 each for them. I told them the price I was quoted and they then told me I could have them for 50p. I'm guessing that Boots franchise their smaller stores and they make the price up as they go along.

Didn't even know they did "Care Glycerine"! I've got the "value" stuff. I guess as well as being vegetarian, the "value" would be cheaper as well? It's the same price, £1.29. Boots tend to stock one or the other, not usually both. They're the same thing as far as vaping is concerned, just some people would prefer what they know is definitely vegetable based. It's likely that the Care brand is also vegetable based but I'm waiting for a reply from the manufacturer.

I emailed Boots a while back, asking about their value glycerin and the Care glycerin and got a reply. They confirm that the value Glycerin is indeed vegetable based but they don't manufacture the Care glycerin so couldn't give more information on it.
Animal or vegetable, probably makes no difference but may be useful to know if you're a hardcore vegetarian! I imagine that the Care stuff is no different.

The vivi novas I ordered on the 14th june have finally arrived:) Are they genuine vivi novas? As far as I know, all the Vivi stuff from FT are clones. Mine certainly were and bad ones at that but other people have had better luck.

I must say that the SVD looks and feels better than I imagined it would, even after seeing it in picture and videos.
The lock feature is also good but I think the ergonomics are going to take a bit of getting used to.

Sounds like a step in the right direction!
What's going on with the V3? I heard they were being recalled due to firing after releasing the button.

No worries kailey The same thing frustrated me for quite a while before I decided to clean it and it is something that does happen quite regularly, perhaps every other day. I really do like the iclear30 now Let us know how you get on.

kailey, I get the same gurgling but this seems to sort it each time: Firstly make sure you don't fill over the 3.0ml mark. Take the iclear30 off your device. Stick a tissue under the bottom and blow into the iclear. It's normal for some juice to come out but this won't solve the gurgling for very long if at all, so: Take the top cap off the iclear and blow through it hard onto a tissue. Turn the top cap upside down and you may see some juice in the outer rim. Clean that up with tissue until dry. Get a corner of tissue and wipe the silicon cap that sits on the wicks. Clean any juice from the connector on whichever device you're using. This is a good habit to get into every time you take a clearo/tank off. Before you put it back together, check over the threads including those of the tank to make sure they're clean and dry. It takes a minute but solves the gurgling every time for me. Hopefully that will cure yours When it happens again, just repeat. (Aside note but I've also cut the notches that sit on the wick a little higher and cut smaller notches for the lower sets of wicks which helped reduce dry hits) Also I rotate heads. After a few fills or if i feel it's getting gunked up, I'll change the head and clean the old one under a hot running tap. Then stick it in a glass of hot water for an hour or so before rinsing it again and allowing it to air dry ready for use when the new head needs changing. When I do this I do take the whole iclear apart for a wash but all the rest really needs after that is to blow through the bits to remove water and a tissue dry.

I got one of these kits the other day with some free juice. I filled one of the iclear thingies, left it for a few minutes and had a vape on it. It tasted burnt to me and I threw it in my box. Looks like I might have to give it another go by the way you're all loving it. It charged my iPhone up no bother as well. The wick setup is similar to the iclear30 but single wicks coming from each side as opposed to 4. I'm still waiting for my iclear16 to try but you could try what I did with my 30. I cut the notches for the high wicks a little higher into the silicone cap and also cut smaller notches for the lower wicks. This decreased the number of dry hits dramatically. Also try putting a couple of drops on the coil and make sure all of the wicks are wet from the juice before vaping.
