Thank you all! I have tried a couple of the DV liquids at 50/50 and 11mg. The Sherbet Lemon is quite nice but I really didn't like the Cherry Ice - too medicinal for me. The thing I'm most concerned about is the muscle problem. If I can't find a way round it I'll have to stop vaping, which obviously I don't want as it has worked for me. I will try to drink more water, which is not easy for someone my age as we weren't brought up with a water bottle always to hand. Luckily I'm retired and only vape at home so the loo is handy. Oh, the joys of childbirth, menopause, radiotherapy and a slightly wonky pelvic floor! Try their real banana, it is lovely in 100%vg

Hi I use 100% vg liquids in my iClear16s and never have a spot of bother with them Really cheap from here with free shipping ebnferro.com/onderdelen-1/clearomizer/innokinI find the 1.5ohm ones do burn my liquid, but the 2.0ohm ones are spot on. They might look like other clearos, but they are very different in performance, the spare replaceable heads are also cheap from that website, but you don't need them often, they tend to go on for ages I am a big DV fan and they will premix in 100%vg for you or sell you the concentrates, why not try a few premixed and if you like them take the plunge and mix your own, it isn't hard if you start off with single flavours in the beginning. With DV flavours I always start at 10% flavour, and then if necessary adjust to taste. www.decadent-vapours.com/en/408-e-liquidsEdit, just reread your post about liking bottom coils (thought you said you didn't like them, never said I was smart), I use evods and a mini davide and both have 0 problems with heavy vg liquid

I got some capella bubble gum and went through the same process, in the end I gave up, still couldn't taste it, and vaping it gave me an incredibly dry mouth, presumably because of so much flavouring. You win some, you lose some I guess. Be prepared to have some reject flavours, it is part of the process

30% flavouring sounds a bit much to me, I have had flavours which are much nicer with less flavour than more, but every flavour is different. Keep your chin up, experimenting is part of the fun I've been told that too much flavouring can actually decrease the flavour, but idk if that's actually true.

I wouldn't worry about it being pink, many nic bases are, and they work fine. What pg/vg mix are you using, and is that what you are used to with premixed? Coils can have something to do with it, and sometimes tastebuds go weird for a couple of days, so could be that. I find all of my flavours taste weird sometimes, then the day after they go back to being 'lish, so might be worth trying again in a couple of days

That's fantastic Dolly, I've been following the thread, but I didn't know what to say I had a cat go missing for a couple of months once then reappear, but I also found one on the road, which is not an experience I would want anyone to have, and well .... just over the moon this was a happy ending

Hi @freefromsmoking -thanks for the welcome Thanks for the advice re Shinyitis virus Any suggestions on how to alter my default setting of 'Yes you definitely need this' ? I find that a nagging 'other half' who keeps a beady eye on the bank balance is a great incentive I'm lucky/unlucky I have the opposite problem, if I say I love something he says I should get it, then my Scottish genes kick in and I decide I don't love it enough I was looking at the really expensive gold thingymigigs that dolly posted the other day, and he was glancing over my shoulder asking if I wanted one, I was tempted but NO! must resist I don't want anything too valuable, because I couldn't cope if it was lost/stolen/broken So I would never use it I may have possibly wasted the same amount of money on drip tips in total though

I don't really care about swapping bits about, I like the sound of the E-vic but I don't like how it looks, so end of story I guess having a 18350 tube would be good, as we have tons of batteries that size, but I kinda want to get the 16850 batteries because they last longer Would sourcing tubes in the same purple be possible? (like I said, never gone down this route before) I can't justify buying anything else either Jen I have enough gear to last me well into next year already ... but ... purple .... I want something that a: works b: has replaceable batteries c: looks and feels right ... and I think for me "c" is the most important (so I'm a woman, get over it!)

Well you know what they say Perpetua "size matters" But it isn't just size ... it needs to feel good in the hand, respond at the right time in the right way I don't want anything bulky or heavy. I need something that can cope with being dropped occasionally and sat on frequently I'm fed up recharging stuff every 5mins, so I realise I need to go bigger, but I don't want to end up body building just for a vape What made you get 3 in all, what makes them good?

Easier to buy the devices, then you know their size for certain.

Okkies, I have always avoided what I call the "light saber" stuff, I am a simple soul. I like simple and light, I hate bulky and "unnecessary." (ok, ok the pipe is an exception to the rule, but everyone needs a quirk ) Then I saw this www.ukecigcabin.com/product/smoktech-sid-vv-mod-battery which is coming in purple really soon. I use iClear16s mostly, with the occasional evod and mini davide, I'll never get on with anything much bigger than that, it's how I roll. I currently have a 1300 spinner, which is great except for recharging and the cut off when you press the button for too long. A VV iTaste express, which is fab, except it needs recharged too often. Puff the pipe is a basic mechanical mod. Love that I can press the button for as long as I like, great for relaxing in front of the telly. Love that I can change his batteries without losing him for a few hours. I get on fine with normal ego batteries most of the time, and really like my new evod batteries, but some days I need the VV. Never tried VW, but guessing I will like that too. I would really appreciate comments from anyone that has one, so I can decide if this really is for me. (I know the purple ones will be superior, but if you have one in another colour, I will still appreciate your views )

Shinyitis is very catching I try to write lists. You would be surprised what you can cross off again a couple of days later once you have thought about it. That works for me, but then again I hate having things lying around reminding me of money I shouldn't have spent. A couple of days "thinking time" makes sure that I truly love most of the things I do buy.
