wow..... every now and then life throws up some pretty tough things.
This is heavy duty stuff and is disturbing as it's well outside what you would normally experience in daily life.
It also shows us how potentially fragile life is. To see that up close is shocking. To be that close to something so awful is difficult to take in.
I'm sorry it fell to your husband to pick up the pieces in the aftermath of this tragic incident. But bloody well done to him too. He reacted superbly and stepped up to the plate and did all he could do.
You must keep us all posted on the little girls progress now. And your husbands too.

I went to a pub in Orpington, Kent on friday and once we'd had one drink we felt ok about having a vape. The pub wasn't all that busy so i chatted to a couple of locals and explained what i was "smoking". During the conversation they both had to go outside to have a "fag".
Did make me chuckle. I felt comfortable though. To be honest, if you think about it, it probably wouldn't be all that pleasant if you went to a pub for something to eat and half the pub was vaping. I know it's harmless but i'm not all that sure if i'd be totally comfortable with it.
Strange i know but .......

Interesting roachie..good song. I can always see Lynott performing "whiskey in the jar". I love the energy they put into that traditional song.
X2 Lee. Very sad about Gary Moore. Very strong blues man. That could rock it up with the best.

Thin Lizzy were immense.
Interesting fact.........just before the first leg of a uk tour in the late 70's their guitarist was struck down with a mystery illness/virus. The band had to get a replacement for the whole tour. They tried several guitarists in the limited time they had before the first gig. In the end they settled on a 17 year-old kid called Midge Ure. He had about 3weeks to learn all the songs.

I'm gonna show my age a little now. I thought the Jam were immense. Wellers a bit of a twit now. But wow. He was singing about my life and putting it across in a musically pumped and hooliganlike way. Awesome at the time. Sounds a little lame now though..lol. I thought i looked the bizz in my white fred perry and desert boots. I used to wear a trilby hat too. Made me stick out a bit too much though. I didn't mind dealing with the occasional t**t that couldn't seem to cope with someone wearing a hat. But jeeeeeez it just seemed to make me a target. I remember having a couple of Harrinton jackets and Jam shoes. I had a suit too with a neru collar. I set myself alight in it when i fell asleep at the end of a party with a fag on.....lol. Now if i'd been vaping....

I don't like to see snakes or any animals treated that way. I'm amazed he didn't get bitten there. Why would they be keeping that many snakes do you reckon ?
