Yep, thing have been a bit hectic lately. Now I just need some 'me time' so I can start my mixing journey.
I could do with buying a spare dripping atty too so I shall start another thread somewhere to ask for opinions.

Hi again everyone I registered here about a month ago and then I disappeared but real life has a habit of taking over if you let it. Anyway, still no nasty ciggies for me and I've started to collect things for my very own mixing lab. I've been having a read at some of the threads over on the mixing board and still trying to get my head round it all. I've also converted my eldest to vaping too so now we're a vaping family

+1 for the Innokin iClear16. My other fave at the moment is a Mini Nova. Both look good on spinner batteries and have replaceable 'bits' for those who like to tinker

Cheap isn't always good but then again expensive isn't always better either. I paid a bit more than I normally do for a juice a while ago but it sounded a bit yummy so I took the plunge. It tasted like Jeyes fluid and went straight down the sink.
Another lesson I've learned, and from reading things I'm not the only one, is that something that sounds really good that you like to eat or drink is not necessarily a good vape.

As I was sick and tired of cleaning out yukky juices from my clearomizers I thought I'd have a bit of a google around to see what sort of taste testing stuff was around. Anyway I came across this YouTube video CLICKY LINK where you can use an old cartomizer and thought, yeah I can do that. Managed to get all the filler out of a prefilled cigalike cartomizer without breaking the air tube and gave it a good wash out to get rid of the nasty tobacco(ish) taste. It worked perfectly Great for a little taste testing without too much mess. The only downside to it is that the only battery that would fit the cartomizer was an automatic one - you can see where this is going can't you ?? Yep, I now have a battery that turns itself on when it feels the urge and can only be stored in one position. Ah well, we live and learn Note to self - listen to the voiceover properly in future and read everything twice!!

iClear16 is currently top of my faves list, well at the moment until I find something else I like even better Not convinced I've found 'the one' yet. The purple ones work best eh? Would look really good on my stainless steel spinner

Karma I've already had a sneaky peek at the mixing board. Verrrrry tempting. Chrissie was a good night wasn't it?? lol fiddles now there's red wine and then there's red wine Not a bad idea though hmmmmm. Raffles now I can always find some extra money if I'm tempted (already learned to stay away from the Fasttech thread )

Hi ocky and welcome from another newbie I started on a cigalike and upgraded pretty sharpish to a Riva and CE4. The difference is amazing from one to the other. Now I'm onto spinner batteries and no doubt, if I keep reading posts by robby extolling the virtues of Vamo's, I'll be splashing out again! Enjoy your vaping journey
