I live in "a dry village". The nearest drinking place is the Bistro on a nearby caravan park, about two and a bit miles away and one and a half miles from the nearest bus stop. The nearest pub is in the next village, 3 miles away. All within walking distance but not roads you would walk on at night. Too dangerous. There is a bus service to the next village but the last bus is 10pm. So the vast majority drink at home and a few use taxis if drinking elsewhere. Drink driving has never been a problem around here. People just do not do it. Or at least no one has ever been caught doing it. I think the main point I am making here is that those who choose to go to the Pub or the Bistro know when they leave the house sober, that they have to pre-book a taxi to get them home and so there is no point in taking their car in the first place. The roads around here are dangerous enough with stray sheep and cattle on the roads without adding the effects of alcohol to the equation. I totally agree, the **** that nearly ended my life last week shows the probs we all have on roads, without peeps been drunk behind the wheel.

and be careful the morning after especially if you're in Scotland where the drink drive limit has been reduced! I personally think it should be zero tolerance, some people think oh I can have one drink, 2 drinks etc, but it affects us all differently, however I think they are taking it to extremes on the morning thing. When I was in Somerset , I was warned they were doing morning checks, mainly stopping mums on the school runs, yes they may still have it in their system but there just seems to be so many more dangerous drivers they should be concentrating on catching. How I am still here is a miracle after some loon on the M5, it was like a scene out of a movie, I still don't know how I missed him. My guardian angel was certainly on my shoulder that night.

Thanks for that. my son is in the market for a tablet, this will do him. I bought the aforementioned Asus as I needed Windows and MS Office. The Lenovo comes with I think it is kingsoft office? Installed, I've not used it, but it is there.
If you are after a case, they are £29.99 in argos, but I got one from amazon for £14.99 which is perfect, fits like a glove and all ports etc have perfect cut outs.
Celicious = make, seller is tech doctor, and if you want funky colours think the price starts at £10.99

There has been a lot of talk recently about which ones to get.
I thought the nexus was the best, but if you want excellent graphics, long battery life, and superior sound ..........
I bought the Lenovo yoga a week or 2 ago.
Had it on it the go now for 19 hours and battery is still going without re-charging. I'm into music so use headphones but even without, the sound is the best I have heard from any tablet.
If you are after a tablet with these features I can not rate it highly enough. Plus it has it's own stand.
Which Yoga? I got this one, which is on offer at argos -, my requirements were cheapish, good sound and long battery life. I'm well impressed, especially for the price. Since owning it, I am especially pleased with the sound quality, the battery life, and the speed, its super fast for what I use it for. I also like the stand, and how you can hold it like a book. I can only presume the more expensive ones must be top of the class. www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/1415807.htm
edit just to say, I have access to a nexus 7, ipad mini, ipad , and ipad air, but I wouldn't swap the Lenovo for any of them.
