At last, something i know about.... Adult cats hate kittens... and thats a general rule. Females hate them more than males due to the process of weaning, and that goes for any female cat, it doesn't have to be the mother of the kitten. As you have a male who looks on your home as his territory, his nose is put out that he now has to share it with another cat, although being a male he will be curious about the kitten, and she in turn sees it as her place to introduce herself, when she is ready of course, to him, so she too will have a hiss, spit whatever.. Remember, its also instinctive for a kitten to react to a male cat, as the kitten will still smell of Mum and in nature, a male will attempt mating with a kitten, often causing its demise, as the first move is to sink teeth into the back of the neck, hence in feral colonies, mother cats keep their young close to them longer than the 6 weeks or so, domestic cat owners generally allow. Had that cat been another male, it could have caused trouble later on, but its a female, so less likely to be much of a problem. If the existing cat steers clear, the kitten could see this 'backing off' as a challenge, after all its instinctive in them to find out who is top cat, and sometimes it proves to be them... It takes time and patience to introduce a new cat into the household, and a lot of 'think cat - not human'. If I can be of any help, don't hesitate to shout out. My day job is running a branch of Cats Protection, which I have done for almost 20 years now, so cats are my speciality.. in fact I wish I knew as much about vaping....lol By the way... a lot of good advice in the posts above.. they know their cats too...

Garry was just brilliant, especially so, as he had the nerves of his first show to contend with as well as getting that Mod all done and dusted in an hour... brilliant stuff..

Thanks Sandra, its lovely to see someone spreading the word..
We don't get paid for what we do, but we don't care, we love doing it, and I have to admit.. I have learned all kinds of stuff from the other presenters, and.. and this bit is important, from all of those who come along and join chat and add to the knowledge base by answering questions from those new as well as old, to vaping and the site... its all fantastic !

no, no, its not another general vaping related forum, its a forum for you to tell us your thoughts on the shows, ask questions from presenters, and generally make requests for what you would like to see on those shows... So have a look around, and be part of VTTV... forum.vapourtrails.tv/index.php
