I'm very grateful to have found this forum, there's so much advice here and you're not singled out as some kind of idiot if you ask for advice. Smoking is 'easy' and you don't need help and pointing in the right direction of how to do it, whereas vaping can be complicated until you get the hang of the lingo and the bits and bobs. Having somewhere like this to ensure everyone gets the best out of vaping is just brilliant  |

Hi guys, I know I've not long joined and none of you know me very well yet but I hope you don't mind me posting this or I think I might explode! So, my daughter and her boyfriend celebrated their 2 year dating anniversary last Monday and he took her Venice for a few days. They got back a couple of hours ago and he's only proposed to her (very romantically) and they're now engaged!!!   They've now gone off to tell other parts of the families but have made me promise not to say anything to anyone in case they don't get there first, which is fair enough but I've been almost exploding having to keep it to myself  I'm so happy for them I could burst, I've cracked open the  and the little that's left of my GVC to celebrate  |

I still have a packet of fags and a lighter in my 'man drawer' along with the old batteries and takeaway menus, not even tempted to smoke them anymore.

Hi pet, sorry I can't help you with any tobacco flavours either but don't discount trying other flavours. I smoked menthol for years but now I only vape puddings and fruit flavours. And this is from someone who never eats chocolate or cake and doesn't have a sweet tooth!

Okay so, got my Evod and it looks just amazing on my matching spinner but I have another question... *sorry*for another one. I vape with my thumb pressing the button thingy on the battery for some reason (with the button on the underside and fingers curled over the top...), feels the most comfortable I guess. Anyway, a few times I seemed to be getting even more flavour than usual and being the top detective that I am I've tracked it down to accidentally covering one of the teeny holes on the bottom of the Evod with my finger ??? I suppose my question is, is it okay to do this cos the flavour is even more fab when I do but I don't want to break it or anything since it's so pretty  |

I use 18mg juice, 50/50 PG/VG. I find the throat hit varies a lot between juices but is definitely stronger all round with my spinner cranked up a bit.
Someone else will know more than me but I think the greater the PG in the liquid, the better the throat hit so might be worth experimenting with PG/VG ratios too...

I was thinking of buying a full EVod deluxe kit, but having slept on it and just going to get one of these spinners, they sound fab. I'm a relative newbie to this vaping lark and became the proud owner of a purple spinner Friday just gone. I swear I haven't put it down since except to charge it and I'm now ordering another so I don't have to put it down ever!! I've even found a couple of juices I was meh about on my Riva batteries have suddenly developed a whole new taste (I love this little pom pom smiley btw) You definitely won't regret getting one |

Sooo, my daughter was a good daughter and delivered my birthday purple Spinner today... OMG no-one told me how fabulous it feels just to hold, I can't stop touching it! (no sniggering from the back please  ) My Evod to match hasn't arrived yet so I'm using my new purple iclear16 on it and it's as though someone really turned up the flavour and I'm tasting things I couldn't before, I'm loving it. Thank goodness it came with charge so I could try it out immediately cos I'm rubbish at waiting! This has been a good birthday and the first one without a cig since I was 16 and that's a long time!! Hey Franki, I'm new here too, I love marmite and cushions (and twigs!) and used to have amazing natural nails before I started my present job at an animal rescue... but the kittens make up for that! I love penguins and red wine too |

Aww thanks for the welcome guys this really is such a friendly forum compared to some, I've popped the rogue head to one side for now cos I have a friend who's offered to recoil my evods for me when I get them but he's never done a dual coil thingy (technical term ). Maybe I'll give it to him to practice on  The birthday fairy (aka my daughter) should deliver my new goodies on Friday so I'll let you know my thoughts and how it compares to my Riva and iClear which I do love. I'm off to read all the mixing threads now in preparation for my next adventure...  |

Hi you lovely lot, I've lurked on here for ages and thought it was about time I joined in (aka, I've got a slight problem I need help with ) Thanks to you lot I'm sitting here happily vaping GVC on my Riva with an iClear 16 and awaiting the birthday fairy to bring me a purple spinner and evod  I hate to join up just to ask advice but I don't know who else to ask. I have several iClears (I love them, gorgeous, warm vape) and a bunch of replacement heads but tonight I popped on a new head while I soaked the gunked up one and the taste is disgusting, kind of burnt and totally unusable  I've put another head on and it's back to the usual custardy deliciousness thank goodness. Is there any way of rescuing the unusable, 'new' head or shall I just bin it and move on, will a good soak help or do you think it's just a wrong 'un? I know it's just a couple of quid but I'm not good at throwing things away without trying everything. This vaping lark's fun isn't it, I'm totally sold and looking forward to moving into mixing next, I've converted 3 friends off the cigs so far and have promised to be their 'supplier' once I start mixing:DOh, and the word Vamo keeps appearing in my dreams for some reason... cheers guys |
