There`s a staccato machine gun fire sound when it fires up - it`s very fast and drives me round the twist, to the point I don`t actually use my Vamo at all

I haven`t got one, but it was one of the things that kept catching my eye as I was browsing around, the flat top stainless version I was looking at - the best deal locally I could find was about £56 delivered, which was a bit too much for something I didn`t need.
Also, I didn`t fully check into it but wanted to know what chipset it`s using, and if it has the same problem as the Vamo with it`s PWM rapid stuttering when firing up - then I`d give it a miss anyway as I don`t want another one of those.....
So, I`m interested to hear if someone has this and what it`s like.

Well that`s what I thought, if somebody actually wanted it, they may as well have it - it`s doing nothing just sat here as an expensive paperweight.
A squonkers life is not for me I`m afraid.

I have one here that`s not being used which I`m quite prepared to let go of.

I thought my eyes were OK - until I started trying to do coils, marginally easier than splitting an atom with a wooden spoon through the wrong end of a telescope, it`s still quite difficult....they might be just the job !

I tried it yesterday with the Evod copy head - they fit and work. (I am just trying it again now to be sure.)
Although I find they change the draw somewhat, a bit tighter and just a bit weirder - I can`t explain it but it doesn`t seem right after using a genuine head (it might be just me having a turn though and imagining it) also the Evod copy battery contact sticks out a fraction more so the ProTank doesn`t sit on top of a flat topped mod quite as flush, although that`s not a big deal, but might be for some people.
I also read somewhere that the Evod coils caused someone`s to leak - it`s not here though.

It didn`t Perpetua, I knew what you meant - I also buy locally as well as from abroad, it`s all about shopping around and getting what you need, when you need it....keep all avenues open and support the locals when you can

I will do, I have an original clear one on it`s way as well with no air slots - but I`m hoping the bases are interchangeable between the two, (they should be fingers crossed) then any flat top mod users won`t lose out.

Mine`s already on it`s way - I`ll report back when it`s here (they are plastic inside)
A point of interest is that the replacement coils could be suitable for the ProTank as well - I`ll report back on those as well when they`re here.

The new coloured ones appear to have air slots on the base - unlike the original clear one they had in first...I`ve a black one on the way already, so will know when (if) it arrives

It looks like little clouds of steam chuffing out of the chimney It`s certainly cut that monster down to size though - the vamos are great in the fact they can take the biggest 18650, but all the extra headspace is just taking it a bit too far for my liking.
