I've got some 36mg, and still have the occasional toke in a 510 with "smart tank" cart. Not in this attie, though - 16mg is plenty for me.

I thought you were joking when you said you were going to use 36mg!

Glad you like it, Mark! The coil is 1.9 - 2.0ohms on my Provari - ideal for a freshly-charged big battery mod. I run the same on my Provari at 4.2v. If it runs dry, you'll taste it well before you do any damage, as the juice will burn before the coil overheats.
Good point about supplying spare coils. As soon as "deesigner" gets some wick in stock, I'll offer that option. The fitted coil should last a few weeks. When it gets clagged up with juice deposits, just scrape the coil with a small craft knife (no need to remove it, just pop the tube off), rinse under the tap, and leave to dry overnight. It'll be good to go again in the morning.
spikey: It'll hold 15-20 drops from dry, and 10-12 for each top-up. I just drip some more when I can't see any juice sloshing around inside. The initial "not for profit" batch are £25 +£2.50 first class recorded delivery. As long as Ian is happy with his too, I'll start making them at the weekend.

"Far superior" That has been said many times with computers etc and yes they amaze with each development .Batteries are sure to become far more powerful and smaller - Atties are likely to become vastly more long lasting and switches must become far more superior to the poor example on the SD . I don't think there's any new battery tech on the horizon. If there was, car manufacturers would have found it by now for use in hybrid vehicles. Batteries are limited by fundamental chemistry. If you make them smaller, they hold less charge. Atties aren't part of the basic "mod". If a new wonder attie is developed, it can still be fitted to a Provari, SD, whatever. The Provari uses an "electronic switch", not a mechanical one like the SD. Totally different devices, and both have their place. If you are willing to pay more, you can get a better switch than the SD, but the SD is an excellent product for the price. Mechanical switches have been around a long time, and I can't see much room for future innovation. Different matter for electronic switches, maybe more use of touch switches? Find someone who has a Provari, and try it.

..... How difficult is it for a reasonable engineering electronics company to create a mod far superior than the Provari. If you are waiting for a mod that's "far superior", what are you expecting it to do? It can't be much smaller, without fitting a smaller battery and losing run time. The Provari has all the functionality that's necessary. The fit and finish are perfect. Usability is spot-on. You could have a box mod, maybe with a custom display, but that would just be different, not "far superior". That really just leaves a Provari clone for less cash. Not superior, just cheaper.

The first 2 are now on the way to their new owners. I'll wait for feedback, then build some more in a week or so if all goes well.
Aldo - I've added you to the list.

A Darwin without the swing arm would be ideal for me. I love my Provari, but it's just a bit too big and heavy to take out. I'm seriously tempted to get a Darwin, but the fact that I can't fit one of my rebuildables, or an Arry, means I'd rarely use it. Must resist......

Minor modification to fix a slight leak from the connector, and all seems to be well. Run out of time today, so I'll fit the wicks and finish testing tomorrow or Tuesday - don't want to ship until it's as close to perfect as possible. I'm hopeful of getting the first 2 in the post on Wednesday.

Says that they don't have distribution rights in several countries, including the UK. Seems a bit odd when their contact address is in Nottingham! Will they actually ship GG products to customers in the UK?

rofl....like a tesco assistant can afford to pay £160 for one of those? Joh Not sure about that! I'm now working as a sales assistant in a supermarket (Sainsbury's), and I own a Provari, as well as about a dozen other PVs.

Can you supply the resistance wire on it's own? I'd like to send some out with each of the dripping atties.

One of my colleagues (a smoker!) complained to our manager. When I asked her why, she said she didn't like the smell. I agreed to try a different juice, and she's fine with me vaping fruit flavours. She just doesn't like RY4. I wonder if thats because you can vape inside and she can't smoke? Strange that she finds ry4 offensive but not real smoke lol ??? That's the weird thing - she also hates the smell of real smoke! Only buys one pack a week. I've offered her a go on mine, even offered to lend her a PV to try at home, and she wasn't interested.
