You're over packing the wick in there, you just enough to hang down each side of the coil and rest in the base - taking care not to block the juice channels. Do not pack the cotton as it will lose its absorbancy just let it lay/rest

I have some of these bell tanks and they greatly reduce the size of my sub tanks and they don't look to shabby neither

I was spoiled by @windows squonker. Nothing compares lol Yeah, they are pretty good aren't they I have the large dna40 one in my hand as I type and the new smaller dna40 on its way. Was going to get another squonking flask, they're superb - but there's nothing quite like owning something that isn't mass produced and knowing that someone has taken time and care to build. They feel more special

Am I the only one who's quite chuffed wiv me owl squonker? Mine came in matt finish and it has a nice rubbery feel to it, the logo just wipes off I ran some copper tape inside and installed a kick2 and an AW Imr 18490 and it just works. Haven't needed to rewire nor re-spring, with the kick i'm not going above 9w and with a clone chalice 111 on top it's not missed a beat. Yes, it looks cheap and feels cheap but it's as light as a feather and pocket friendly. It's one that I won't mind getting knocked about I've not even bothered coiling that sad excuse for a squonking attie that was supplied with it mind you, I took one look and realised it wasn't going to perform and haven't touched it since.

Dc -dc mode is a flat signal that will provide a much smoother vape than pwm but in this case it limits the wattage range that you can use with your coil due to the fact that the mod has no step down circuitry. Pwm will fire the maximum power output of the mod in bursts, it will use an average of those bursts of power to regulate the output to the coil. so for instance if the mods total output is 8w and you only require 4w for your coil the mod will deliver power for 50% of the time in bursts so that the average power to the coil is 4w Sorry for being stupid is that good or bad? Should I be using these settings or just stick to manual up/down on wattage? You use the manual up/down for both settings I would go with the dc-dc and try it first, if the vape is ok and not too powerful then that would be the better option If you find it too powerful then use the pwm option and it will allow you to lower the power enough to find the setting you like
