Waiting for the postie....mid afternoon is the norm  .....anyway I have noticed that mint/menthol kinds of juice seem to kick in better ...after vaping that flavor, when I go for that rollie it tastes vile....a good thing.....fingers crossed it puts me off smoking the stinkie  |

Hiya and welcome along to the forum...I am a total newbie....only been vaping for 4 days, I have had a few rollies but nowhere near how many I would without vaping, the odd one is ok if it gets you back on track, I am already noticing the acky taste of my rollie after vaping throughout the day....do not beat yourself up hun, the habit is hard to kick and the odd rollie is nowhere near as harmful as smoking all day and night like we all used to  Well done so far  |

Thank you once again for the lovely words of encouragement ...Today I need them more than ever.......struggling today with both the diet and the smoking...strange how we compensate one for the other, makes me realize how much the stinkies really helped me to diet. Craving all sorts of foods today...food I never bothered with before...  Yesterday the day ended on 11 stinkies....still much less than before the vaping....today so far 9 stinkies..... Got the email from Alchemists Cupboard to say my new juices have been sent out today.....cannot wait...I really hope one of them is THE one.....Hubby seems to be happily sticking to his mint...I am changing a few times throughout the day......sticking more with a mix of Red bull and Cola...tastes a little like Cola cubes  All the flavor without the calories ... I am looking forward to the postie tomorrow ....I seem to be getting addicted to trying new juices....  Already converted 4 other people, they want to try the different juices, looking into the different types of tanks etc.......They all want the Ego battery same as mine......I must admit I have said the Evod is fantastic....I love it LOL ...the great side of also converting others is that we get to try so many more juices between us... |

Day 3.....hubby 0 me 3, hubby is doing fantastic, he really canes it at certain times but manages to keep away from rolling one I am not giving my self stick.....trying to do the 2 things in life that are hardest for me...diet and give up the smokes, I have found myself yearning for certain foods more this last few days.....I know this is b'cos the stinkies are not an option sometimes...looking back over the weeks, stinkies have replaced that urge you get when dieting.... I am so looking forward to the order coming...once I find the one for me I know this will get easier  We have been using an old cup of my daughters, she is nearly 18 but kept some of her cartoon cups....she is happy for us to use one as an Ecig holder....thank god we have different looking ones, our 2 friends yesterday also have Ego batteries but again different colours so all 4 lived in the cup in between vapes ..........less likely to knock them over and I have not dropped it since lol...so maybe I shall buy one protank for those lovely flavors that seem to be crackers...and only use it at home.... So many choices out there, tanks and flavors seems to have grabbed my attention more than anything......we would have been due to buy our months supply of tobacco, that money has been spent on the kit and all the juice's etc.....no regrets yet Thank you to you all for your words of encouragement ......I find it easier knowing and feeling no pressure .....all those other times with patches and gum etc I totally put far too much pressure on myself.....giving it the " today is the day you stop the stinkies" without that I am doing far better this time round and feel positive that vaping will be a new way for hubby and me....now all we have to do is curb the addiction we both seem to have of trying all the juices  |

My only issue is that I do not want a glass tank, trust me I would break it within the first few days, I really am that clumsy, already dropped this one 5 times since yesterday morning, they are just so heavy at the side of a rollie...so am looking at other tanks that claim to be tougher to crack... So daughter came in from the pub last night.....it all ended in my final figure of 9 stinkies, more than I wanted but I did not deprave my self...I had a limit in my head of 15. So far still 0 today....after eating it really does bite at me, arrggggg. You'll get used to the weight though Debbie . . . the tendency to drop stuff I can't advise on however. Oohhh now thats fantastic value....not had chance today to do any research...had some friends round till about half hour ago....all vaping and trying new juices.....Cola, Cappuccino, Red Bull, Very Berry, Double Apple and Ice Mint....The Cappuccino is to die for...totally fab and very fulfilling....deep flavor and very satisfying....Cola is ok but much better mixed with the Red Bull.....yummy....both of those being a lower nic strength too Disappointed in the Double Apple....its green and red apple and a little too sweet for me...not a lover of red apple....Ice mint is too minty for me...but I am thinking of putting a few drops into my soft mint...see what happens LOL Thank you hun...hubby still not had any....I have had 7......its always after the eating thing....it just bites at me lol... |

You're doing really well Debbie. Just a suggestion, but when you find a flavour you totally love you could always get one bottle of 24mg and have that in a device that you use for first thing in the morning, after a meal or when you're on the phone. You might find it gives you that extra hit you need at those times, just for the first week or so. I have an SD keyring and I find the pre-filled cartos in that give me a slightly stronger hit than my other e-cigs, so I use that when I have a beer LOL. It's amazing how quickly you will get used to the habit of getting your nic intake from the vape instead of the stinkies. Honestly, after a few days your tastebuds really do start to change and the stinkies taste, well, just WRONG. I can't think of anything that would send me back to the stinkies now. It would definitely be a downgrade from what I've got now  After reading up on nic levels, even on 18 it is higher than my tobacco...that is 16mg, so I really think having such a high one like 24mg wont be the way forward. 18 is the one I am sticking to....for now.....Hubby has only had 1 stinkie last night, he has done really well..... Let us see what today brings |

Thank you all...well I have had 6 stinkies today....I will say make that 7 by the time I go to bed.......jesus...I could have that for breakfast, it kicks more after having something to eat, then my friend rang me and I really did struggle, habit I have...so far I have used the Apple for most of the day, then went onto the Strawberries and Cream as Hollyoaks started up till after Eastenders....added a small amount of the Soft Mint to it and vaping that right now.
Went on The Alchemists Cupboard and made an order, all 18mg, Egg Custard, Turkish Delight, Pear Drop, Little Violet Sweeties and Blackcurrant and Liquorice after reading the reviews on those flavours. Tomorrow hubby is going to someone he knows and getting double apple, strong mint and cherry I think...Weird how you never knew other people who were either vaping themselves or selling the gear until you start yourself...
The next order will be from FreedomVape....butterscotch and hot cross bun for me....
Now I am looking/reading about the tank cracker liquids, also reading up on the tanks that dont crack.....ohhh this is all exciting isnt it......bank balance is taking a battering tho icon_shoppingm

After reading so much info on here over the last few days I was thinking about buying some VG....but as its a mild taste was worried the soft mint would end up being a tasteless vape.......hubby really wants stronger mint/menthol......so I thought a mix of the very strong mint then some VG into this soft mint might work.....but we are also very aware that the tastes could change, either steeping or our taste buds could change any of the flavours... So far so good, not had a real stinkie, just vaped my way through the urges....its nearly dinner time now....I think that urge might kick in real bad very soon but have saved my chest from at least 5/7 stinking already....I also put the ashtrays elsewhere, put my tin etc out of sight and arms length. Cannot wait till tonight when hubby is home....really want to order some more juices, I have a yearning for Butterscotch....anyone know where is best to find it? I would love a real strong flavor...this diet is killing me some days....  You could get some Mint or Menthol Crystals to balance the loss of flavour out Debbie . . . but I'm wary of giving you too much info to digest at once. Not because you couldn't cope with it as you're doing so brilliantly, but a little at a time can be the best way to get to grips with everything, if you're anything like me that this. Good news overall to log on to Debbie! You could add a little Vegetable Glycerine to your juice that you're finding too high a strength, small bottles are available in the baking aisles of most large supermarkets. That will also give you more vapour and decrease the throat hit, although that will dilute your flavour a little as well. Try taking a few ' chugs ' on your ecig, holding the vapour in your mouth for a few seconds before inhaling/exhaling. That will also soften the hit on your throat. Well no more worries, it came today, all intact and working like a dream.......Ebay is full of rubbish but if you do your homework like we did and only buy from a reputable seller you can get a bargain. We did some home work on a couple of models/brands....saved a few quid in the process.... Anyway onto tonight, hubby came in from work and on charge the 2 batteries went.....roll forward to the fully charged batteries and off we go.......I checked my Evod fitted on my battery...yup yup....no worries there....infact rather in love with the look of my Evod at the side of hubbies CE4 tanks, we had a few CE4 tanks so tested all 4 flavors.....all 50/50 PG/VG.....Soft mint....made me cough...not the flavor...that was nice and mild ( not a fan of strong minty flavous ) but I am thinking the Nic strength is too high for me at 24mg...hubby wasnt a fan either but only b'cos it wasnt a strong enough mint for him. Onto the 18mg ones, Strawberries and Cream....It mainly tasted of cream to me....I am on a diet and have been for a while...left my mouth feeling....dairy? like I had just eaten some cream ....I got a hint of Strawberry....far too sweet for me...hubby loved it though....very strawberry and less cream for him, in goes the Apple.....OMG I am in love....fresh green apple...on the inhale and exhale....lush...hubby also in love with it....Vanilla....Hmmm kinda tasted like a very mild germaline flavor to me...liked it but didnt at the same time....hubby not keen. So we both filled our tanks with apple for the morning, tomorrow we are juice hunting....we are going to try the different variations of PG/VG....I am thinking I like less throat hit and more smoke lol, hubby perhaps a little more throat hit, one things for sure no more 24mg.....cannot wait to try more flavors and variations. We used them for a few hours tonight, pretty promising, but both decided the morning was the day to give this a real go. Tonight has been a very stressful one...another story but not one I will go into. I think Evod bcc is the way to go for me, hubby happy for now with his CE4 tanks....it kinda felt a bit like putting the pen lid in my mouth, the Evod felt right for me..... We did also decide that he takes a deep drag on a stinkie, inhaling and exhaling more smoke. I take smaller drags, but after testing the Ecigs...had a real stinkie....that felt too strong on the back of my throat, perhaps I need the lower strength ...never noticed how much throat hit I get from a stinkie before....obviously just become immune to it....so wish me luck...I am going to try vaping from the moment I get up.....see how long I can go before the silly urge gets to me. The one thing I did notice is that I got a headache when vaping....drinking water in tons anyway....fingers crossed it dwindles |

Debbie13 do be careful buying anything e-cig related off ebay. Ebay banned the sale of e-cigs over 3 years ago, therefore at any time, the listings could be removed & the sellers banned, which could make it difficult putting in a claim if anything goes wrong Also the Joose-juice e-liquids are freshly made so will improve even more with steeping. Not looked lately the theres hundreds of listings most under shisha,a few are vendors think ebay has relaxed it, now back to original welcome to all the new ones above lol Congrats on your new venture but be warned none have mentioned shiny stuff its a bug curse no antibiotics can cure it  when you get a bit confident re coiling a evod etc will come,it looks scary but once you done one it will be what was all that fuss about,plus saves you even more£££..then you will become the mad scientist making those juices even more £££ saved way most of us will eventually look at it ,you spend x amount on vaping stuff yes bank balance does dip a bit,but look at it this way later if you decide to quit vaping or start upgrading you can sell bits you dont want,where as before all you had was apile of ash and butts that cost you X amount and you launched it into the bin oh word of warning!!!!!! if you used to eat hot spicey food,wait till taste buds come back!!! boom blow your head off its a lot hotter than you remember,and the joys of smell return yes diesel and petrol fumes smell like armani ok really mean something else lol Enjoy and welcome to the madhouse of AAEC,i belong to a few Vape forums and this is one of the most friendly down to earth ones i know of Yes it does look like they have relaxed it, the only thing they cannot do is sell anything with nic in it....other than that everything is on there for the taking lol... Dont worry we only buy from reputable sellers, but thank you for your concern, its a gamble we take when purchasing from Ebay, again sat here waiting on the postman, he comes after dinner time...arrgggg..... Urgggg no since having my tonsils out spicey foods are off the menu for me, my throat stings at southern fried chicken lol......so I shall know to steer well clear of anything like that even more now  As for Diesel and Petrol...I really hope not, the smell gets right up my nose now....let alone when my smell returns.. I have been looking and reading about all the different bits you can buy, one thing I know not to get are the pyrex/glass tanks....I would smash one every other day....  So do you all think its better to have a lanyard thingy ??? Have been reading about laying them down and how most can leak without a stand, from what I have read the Ego dont go on a stand too well....what do you all do with your Ecigs when in the house and out and about.....do I really need to be that careful?
