If you get pure menthol in your eye or on sensitive parts it is unpleasant - think vic vapour rub x 10

Just been thinking has anyone got a plan when the Nic shit hits the fan other than stocking up. After May 2017 the public will be able to get sealed 10ml bottles of unflavoured up to 20mg - this will be fine for 90 percent of users However the extra cost of all them little bottles + labels will push the price up - at the moment 10ml of 20mg would need to work out at less than £0.20 to match the current price of bulk buying nicotine base. After TPD it is very possible that the one shot market will take off in a big way --- a very large number of the smaller makers will see this as the only way they can continue in the market. It is best to stock up before May 2017 and avoid all the shit/all the little over priced 10ml bottles of 20mg/ However the down side of freezer stuffing is if at any point in the future a TAX is placed on e-liquids you might spend endless nights bricking yourself incase some scumbag robs you of many thousands of £ worth of nicotine base.

Some of the finest one off mixes ever made have been done with the top the tank up with another juice method! Best part is if it tastes rank you only waste five minutes washing the tank out and 1-2ml Given that if you switch to another flavour you were going to wash out the tank anyway = risk 1-2ml - go on live on the edge .

I have also reduced the price on Hangsen Smart Cat and Hangsen Concentrated - both of these flavours are extracted from real tobacco and both have very short use by dates

Cheers I am going to go with 0.6ml Best to go with 0.9 ml of 72mg if you want 6mg Maths: You are starting off with 10ml of nicotine free e-liquid and then you are adding more liquid (0.9ml of 72mg ) making the total finished size 10.9ml if you only add add 0. 6ml of 72 mg to your 10ml then your finished strength will only be be 4mg

Unless you are using a very thin insulin type syringe for flavourings and mistaking the smaller lines marking 0.01ml on the syringe for 0.1ml spacing then I am also completely baffled

Please add up and post the total percent of flavouring you are using This can be represented by percent of flavouring in the finished mix or the number of ml of flavouring per bottle- please give finished mix size
please post image of syringe you are using for flavouring.

Iv been having this problem for a year now. Iv been threw loads of stock coils in a tfv4, crown, sub mini, tryton and iv been rebuilding in my goblin mini sub mini and so on. Friends have tried my dy in there tanks and say the same that there is little to no flavour. I must have at least 20 different recipes mixed up at anyone time that I try threw the day but tbh there rubish. I do have a tank full of eucalyptus and mint that I use and that is a strong flavour. The strange thing is I can taste others DIY no problem I can even tast things like hangsen so I'm sure it must be something to do with what I'm doing but god knows what. Given that others also think your finished e-liquids lack flavour it would suggest that something is very wrong my thoughts/recommendations 1 discard your plain PG Propylene Glycol (PG) As based on the your description of the problem it may be possible have you ordered or been sent the wrong stuff- for example polyethylene glycol or mono ethylene glycol

For larger bottles of nicotine base yes keep in the fridge or freezer from this larger bottle decant around about 1 months worth into a easy to handle size bottle for day to day use - you will only need to keep it in a coolish part of your house Storing plain PG or VG in the fridge- seems pointless as both PG an VG keep for ages at room temp and is best to used warm or room temp As for buying flavours you and your taste buds will likely find that every brand of flavouring has a number of outstanding flavours a number of very nice ones plus the not so good ones along with some that will taste just rank- but others will find the same flavour outstanding.
Have fun Not every mix can be saved with menthol

Write down the weight of every part of your intended mix including your empty container
Place empty container/bottle on scales then hit the button marked TEAR this will zero your scales Then one liquid at a time and in the same order as listed add your liquids to the container/bottle - after the correct weight of each is reached hit the tear button zeroing the scales ready for the next liquid on the list.
You can also work to a running total without the need to use the TEAR button
Write down the following totals Weight of empty container = ( grams) Total weight of empty container + liquid 1 = (grams)------once you reached this set weight you then stop adding liquid 1 and move to adding liquid 2 till you hit the next set weight Total weight of empty container + liquid1+ liquid 2 =(grams) -----once you reached this next weight stop adding liquid 2 and move to adding liquid 3 till you hit the next set weight Total weight of empty container + liquid 1 + liquid 2 + liquid 3 =(grams) once you reached this weight then stop adding liquid 3

I would estimate that other than the very small percent of vapers who visit the forums the remaining 99% don't have any sort of stash + think TPD is something that you might catch on holiday

<<<With regards to stashing nicotine by the way it might be worth bearing in mind that most people who earn a living working with chemicals suggest that if you put a litre of 7.2% nicotine base in the freezer today when you crack it open in 2030 it will be rather less than 72mg strength. They can't say by how much because no one has done it yet but I have heard an informed guess at between 50-60mg a couple of times. >>> Well piratesvapeuk. I wonder what, if it is still available in 2030, we would be paying for 7.2% nic base? Can't say I'd be too bothered by adding a few ml more of NB just to top it up a bit, especially buying it at today's prices. But as no one knows what will happen, at least those that do put a stash bye will not have to worry too much no matter what happens in May. The other thing to bear in mind is if you can get hold of black-market nicotine base after may 2017 ( assuming the UK government allows the extra year for stockists to clear the shelf of all non TPD) The only people willing to risk huge fines and jail time are not very likely to refund if you have a complaint - Price wise if a blanket tax is imposed at £5.00 per 10ml bottle on all nicotine containing e-liquids up to the max legal strength of 20mg then between £500- and £1000 per lt of 72mg will sound like a real steal Maths based on the highest strength that will be available after TPD (20mg) 1000ml of 72mg 72mg divided by 20mg = 3.6 3.6 x 1000ml = 3600ml 3600ml divided by 10 = 360x 10ml bottles of 20mg 360 x £5.00 tax per10ml bottle = £1800 tax if and it is a very big if no TAX is ever imposed on e-liquid you still won't be able to buy any unflavoured e-liquid in bottles over 10ml in size or stronger than 20mg and unless anyone is expecting these 10ml x20mg bottles to be sold at 15p or less each it still makes sense to have a stash

As it says and due to the uncertainty of future developments by various government bodies, how many years worth of e-juice chemicals would the members deem appropriate to stash away to ensure my continued vaping pleasure? if at any point in the future a tax is placed on e-liquids bring the cost up to match the price of cigarettes a good size stash might be better than money in the bank
