Hello!
Usual guff first:
This is my personal review of the juice and doesn't represent thoughts or opinions of AAEC. This review will be posted to other forums too.Review number 2! As the title says, Banana Split by Liberty Flights.
Here it is in all it's glory:
As you can seee from pic #2, all the relevant good stuff is on there, tactile label, poison warnings and child proof cap.
I got 18mg strength juice and 100% PG and it was bought from a pop up store in Peterborough on Saturday and I paid £5.99. It was on a 4 for 3 offer reducing it to £4.49 - you can also buy them direct from their website
www.liberty-flights.co.ukAs usual in my reviews as I'm still a new vaper I'm testing it in entry level gear which is an ego twist and an Evod tank with a brand new 1.8ohm head. My twist was at 3.8v.
Banana Split is from Liberty Flights XO range which are their premium liquids.
First of all opening the bottle, the smell was pleasant, strong enough not to have to virtually stick the nozzle up my nose and very recognisable...
Remember these?! Foam bananas!
Now, I didn't like these as a kid and probably wouldn't buy them now. Although I love bananas I don't tend to like the fake fruit flavours. I never have banana or strawberry milkshakes for example, I much prefer chocolate sweets to fruit ones.
This was a surprise purchase for me, had I have seen it at the taste station I would have skipped over it but the lady next to me was trying it and she couldn't believe how much like the sweets this juice was.
I remember the taste of the sweets plainly, they are distinctive so I wanted a tester toot not to see if I'd like it, but to actually see for myself if it was "exactly" like the sweets the lady next to me was claiming.
Lo and behold it was but for me not as strong as the sweets and I think that slightly milder flavour won it over for me as a fan of real bananas, so in my buying pile it went'
Back to home and unfortunately for this juice I had Mrs Lords Custard Cream on the go which I was finding ever so slightly impossible to put down so it hasn't had it's debut until today (Monday).
Going back to the bottle itself, it has a nice long thin nipple tip (stop sniggering at the back) on it making it nice and easy to fill, some bottles have stubby little fat ones and also HALLELUJAH, a nice SOFT easy peasy to squeezy bottle. Filling my Evod was a breeze!
Obligatory boob shot of the nipple tip, slightly blurred not because of my inability to take photos but save some blushes for the bottle, honest. :
I have to say, this is a VERY nice juice. The throat hit is slightly better than Mrs Lords custard cream, but again, not a whammo, nice and smooth. I also did toot this at 3.8 and Custard Cream was 3.2.
The vapour production is marvellous for 100% PG, I was really surprised! I do like good vapour production, not necessarily plumes of the stuff, but atleast akin to having an analogue, I think that is one of the reasons vaping has kept me off the analogues, I did/do like blowing out smoke/vapour, it makes me look hip and cool and down with the kids.
This isn't an ADV for me, not because it's too sickly or sweet, as I said earlier I think it's a milder flavour of the real thing but it's a 1 level flavour, you're not getting different flavours appear throughout the vape like say caramel cappuccino or rhubarb and custard and I find that quite.....boring. Not to say this flavour is boring, I am enjoying it very much but same taste all day, not for me. It is very nice for satisfying my sweet tooth though and I will happily vape this instead of reaching for my chocolate stash, which is always a winner!
This will be a repeat purchase for sure for those sweetie tooth moment.
