F you really can't handle what was very mild pisstaking, then you're definitely better off staying here where you can have your ego stroked. Just a little condescending in my view.

Seems I may have been going about this all wrong with my MVP2 then. I was under the impression you had to set both V and W to get get within a range However it seems it must automatically put you into either Watts or Voltage depending on what you last pressed on the device and is therefore not a case of yo having to adjust both settings. I did think at the time when I first got it that blimey without this chart it will be an ightmare for people to figure out how to get optimal performance. I stand corrected but glad I asked now :-) Spot on happy vaping

Hold on guys..... The answer I seek is there any difference. Does one give a warmer vape. The other more flavour. Excuse my ignorance I just can't seem to grasp why you would need two settings when one would do. (Input the word Muppet) In short they are both ways of archiving the same result and that is what temperature you are running your coil at. i think the reason mods have both is both marketing and keeping up with the competition, look at the evic you can connect it to your computer and download your vaping history.

The difference is if your mod as a wattage mode you are setting the output power, so no matter what resistance coil used it will always output the same power so your mod changes it's voltage automatically to suit. In theory this should be much better but in practice for me there is no "magic" output power/watts level so in fact I change the power to suit what I am using anyway. I agree with that I vap 1.8 ohms at 3.5-4 watts and 2.2 ohms at 5-5.5 watts using the same juice I think the coil wire thickness makes a difference

dakgm I didn't realise that the voltage changed automatically depending on what atty was in use, if/when you changed the watts On my MVP2 you have to set the Volts and Watts yourself and they stay as to what you have set, therefore changing atty's will result in a different vape, needing V and/or W alteration Please correct me if I'm wrong. This gives you the impression you are setting both, but that's not the case you only set the mode in use and the other mode is inactive so if you display watts that is what your setting and vise versa. hope this helps My understanding is it's either or, you can only set the volts or watts not both, you pick which one but it will remember what you set so if you set watts and vap and then change to setting volts, when you go back to setting watts it will have remembered your last setting

In theory if you find a vaping sweet spot for an e juce in watts you can change your atty for one of a different resistance and the vap will be the same as the device wil adjust the voltage to archive the wattage set.
If you set your volts and change your atty for say a lower resistance your watt usage will be higher and you get a burnt taste.
In practice you will find that you will find a prefrance either volts or watts just play with the settings and you will find what works for you.

Yes I've tried a different iclear16 on it, but it won't turn on now, I hope it's nothing I've done to it... I wouldn't think its anything you have done, its probably just the luck of the draw. I would think the vender will sort it out with no problems.

It still works I've been vaping at 3watts for 5 weeks with it No wonder it is gunked up .... I'm surprised it even heated up enough to produce vapour at such a low power setting. Heated up fine we vap ring contests in the evenings.

I've been using a diy mix 30vg - 70pg with Hansen Virginia tobacco flavor Idk but I'm guessing that has sweetener in it, which is a definite coil gunker. 5 weeks for a coil ain't bad It must have something nasty in it, shame it was one of those good ones if it wasn't for the 10sec cut off on the battery I could empty the tank in one go with no gurgling or flooding.
